sloppy poor action
This was sent as a replacement for the slave cylinder I ordered. The first one would not compress which would not allow me to seat the transmission. This replacement had the same issue. I played around with this one more to try and figure out the problem. There seems to be a ridge that will not allow the throw out bearing to compress unless it is at the perfect angle. You cannot manipulate the throw out bearing to that perfect alignment to allow it to slip over the ridge when installing the transmission. This is for a project truck and I have limited time to work on it. These issues have cost me valuable time. I hope that I just got 2 from a bad batch. I have used Dorman products in the past and have been well pleased. This part was only $12 cheaper than Auto Zone. I will be buying my new part from Auto Zone and chalking this up to a bad experience.

Broken part
Took me 14 hours to install this damn thing and it was cracked at the fitting on the body! Great part to send to someone broken as it goes I side the bell housing. Thanks for wasting what's gonna be 20 plus hours of my time
