So, yes you will find names in this book that do not exist elsewhere. You ALSO will find names that you've heard of before that are not in here, so it is not the most comprehensive book. However, they do give you meanings for names. Did this book ultimately get us to our son's name? No. But, a few names from here did enhance our list (1-2 maybe, if that).Lastly, there are some odd lists of boys names. One is after food-- suggesting Asiago as a kid name cracked my husband and I up. That section was a joke.

I didn’t like the section where it discusses celebrity names. Just not my thing. Other than that I liked the book

Very basic overused names

It’s a good start, we used it a few times but ended up coming up with a name on our own.

Disappointing book. Barely has any names in it. More explains why names are important and why their meanings are important.
