My new range vent did not come with light bulbs and these work great, just took me a long time to install you really need a device to secure them in if you have dexterity problems

Good value for the money. They are a good replacement bulb. Longevity is yet unknown

They looked great and worked well but one was cracked.. The color also didn't match my existing GE ones exactly so I would've had to replace all my bulbs... and if I was going to replace all my bulbs, I figured I'd go with LEDs... so i ended up returning these and eventually got LED ones. BUT, if you're in the market for Halogen lights like these, I *would* recommend these. I'm sure the broken bulb was a one off thing, like a cracked egg you get in a carton once in a while.

Would have given 5 stars but the first bulb I tried burnt out shortly after installing. They are good for the price but, I hope the other bulbs last much longer.

I needed to replace a bulb in the hood vent over my range (first time replacing) so I went on Amazon and searched using the bulb information from the user manual. This was one of the options so I selected based on the reviews and value compared to other products that returned from my search. I have had it for a week it was very easy to install and is working perfectly. I bought the 10 pack so hopefully I will not need to buy this type of bulb again. It will be interesting to see how long this product will last as I use these lights everyday pretty much all day. One original light is still going after 2+ years so at that rate I should be good with the 10 pack!

These are great. They last way longer than I would have thought. If they are not lasting on you, its probably the installation of the fixture. The fixture needs to have good airflow, or you will burn through these pretty quick. With open air fixtures, you should not have any issue. However, with recessed lighting, make sure you are not blocking the airflow in the attic with insulation or whatever.I have 27 recessed lighting fixtures and 5 open air fixtures using these bulbs. In 2 plus years, none of the open air have needed replacing. Of the recessed lighting, I have replaced 4 bulbs. 2 on one fixture, and 2 on another fixture. Same fixtures, and they were burning out right from the get go. Turned out the air flow was blocked in the attic. I corrected the issues and no more burn outs.They do have temperature protection, and will switch themselves off after a time period. When they cool down, they will switch back on. However, they will get hot again and turn off. If you see that happening, you need to correct the issue with the air flow or eventually it will burn out.

I've had these lights in for one week and so far so good. They are very bright and offer a great amount of light into the room. I have these in the two rooms in my basement and they definitely make the room feel less dungeon-y haha. Can't beat the price either- my grocery store wanted $6 PER LIGHT and these were a 10 pack for $16.I will update further once I've had them for longer.

I’m so thankful to have found these. I needed 8 bulbs, went to the hardware store, found out they were around $15+ for a pack of 3. These fit my IKEA ceiling fixtures and I didn’t want to take 2 hours out of my day driving to buy bulbs at a far away IKEA store, where I knew they were less expensive than the local hardware store. Thank you for the value and convenience. Hopefully they last a long time! I will buy again
