Vague about current procedures
Have used a number of Haynes manuals over time and this one is not good. It will take you into a job but not how to get to it ie removing of the trim.

Not quite good enough.
The SEAT Ibiza, VW Polo & Skoda Fabia are all based on the same platform, so the running gear, brakes, suspension etc are all similar. Haynes published the Polo & Fabia manuals a few years and it includes the 1.2TDI engine, but when the SEAT manual is eventually made available there is no 1.2TDI version. In fairness, Haynes state the manual does not include the 1.2 TDI, but how difficult would it have been to 'cut & paste' when its already been done for the Polo & Fabia? Haynes state every manual is based on a complete strip down and re-build, but that's not completely accurate. Some of the images in the Ibiza & Fabia models are taken from the VW strip down. Its not an issue to use images from the Polo or the Ibiza, so all the more reason to include the 1.2TDI in this manual. I've had to purchase a Haynes Fabia manual to cover my Seat engine. On the positive side, Haynes manuals remain a good starting place. Its still worth the money to have a reference manual in the garage when working under the bonnet. However, they are being overtaken by the web and I would pay extra for a hardback version. This softback version wont easily stay open when on the bench.
