Super easy to install. As you can see from my pics, I installed these on a 10 gauge extension cord and it fit great. I just had to shave the cover back a little to get the clamp on the back end.

I ordered these replacement plug and connector set to repair a heavy-duty extension cord that had damage to both ends. These appear to be well-made. Installation was quick and easy. The terminals are brass and appeared to be quite solid. I like the lit ends, so I know when the cord is plugged-in to power. A very good value for the price.

A true value for the money, Easy to install with directions printed on the inside of the box. I orderred 2 sets of male and female to repair some expensive construction extension cords. One was 14 guage and the other was 12. It was a breeze. Just make sure that your using a good Phillips tip as you could strip the screw heads.

I really like the plugs, I will buy them again in the future! The orange integrated power light is a nice bonus. What kept me from giving an overall 5 star review is a lack of a water blocker where the cord enters the plug. I simply used silicone to seal it.

The new electric cord plugs were exactly what I needed to replace the original plugs that were worn out. The new plugs have an opening that allows the heavy 12 Guage wire to fit where some aftermarket plugs have a round hole which will not allow the flat thick wires to be installed. I have a picture of a standard wire plug that I tried to install since I already had a set but the wire would not physically fit into the clamping area of the standard duty plug.One thing I really like about these replacement plugs is the fact that when the cord is plugged in to a working power source,whether it is a generator or standard wall plug, both ends now light up so you can easily tell if you have power at both ends of the cord. The old original plugs were starting to overheat under a sustained heavy load and the new plugs eliminated the overheating problem so I expect to get many more years of service from the already 30 plus year old cord.

I was trimming the hedges and I always focus on when I bring the trimmer down I don't drop it where I will slice my leg, lol. So here's my story, The other plug, everytime I raised to trim kept pulling out of the female part, I plugged it back in, raised it to cut some tree branches, it stopped again but this time it wasn't the plug that pulled out, I caught the extension cord and sliced it. Thankfully it tripped the breaker and my husband wasn't upset, cause he thinks i'm like a cartoon character anyway. So he ordered this, switched them out, saved us on having to buy another new one and my legs are intact. Cause I really can't afford that, i'm only 4' 11" as it is, lol.

The lighted plug on my extension cord shorted out and finding this lighted plug/connector set saved me from having to purchase another extension cord. Instructions were easy to follow and the plug/connector each were marked as to where each wire went. Made repair quick and easy...definitely recommend.

These are quite visible from all angles unlike the competition, and otherwise generally high quality. I’m using them on 10 AWG extension cord by taking out the little inserts on the part of the connector that clamp the cord, so no issues with cord that thick.

Good quality, will see how it handle a Canadian construction site in the winter.

Nothing to dislike these are great quality plug ends super easy to install and great to have the lights built in I highly recommend them

It's early days but at present, they seem well made and are working fine. I have no complaints.
