I bought four of these for each of my four newly built slate steps in the front of my home. I liked the modern look with the slate. Three arrive in the bronze color that I ordered, but one was the wrong color and I had to send it back. The company was pretty quick at sending the correct color, but it did slow up my project. My husband is a huge conservationist and I knew if I wanted lights in the stairs, they needed to be energy efficient. These are, but they also do not cast much light. I would have preferred more light on the stairs.

I am close to the coast and I think the internal chassis will rust away in short order. Good strong product none the less. I zinc plated them myself. Don't try this if you are not willing to void your warranty.

The color light is not like the light shown on the web page. It does not have an orange glow was depicted, it is more white. It stands out from the other three lights.

I ordered a number of these lights. NONE of them worked. We realized this after they they were installed in our front walkway. There is no bulb to change, just a chip. Since our landscaping project took a few months to complete, the window for returns is now closed. So we are stuck with these non functioning lights in our new stairs.

It is very hard to install. I bought couple of them for my ourside stairs. Now I have problem to install the cap.

Great look, lights up the stairs perfectly.

Does not have a long life span.
