its a TOOO big for a Home Gym

It was very easy to put together. It seems somewhat sturdy, besides the weight tubes, which is the most important part. It says the max weight is 210lbs in instructions. I put 2, 45lb Olympic plates (90lbs total) on 1 weight tube and it seems to have bent a little. I can also move the weight tubes and bend them with my hands which is not good. I will not be using 45lb plates on this rack because it seems unsafe. Disappointing. I guess you get what you pay for, I’d look elsewhere if you plan on using Olympic weights.

Poor design, bolts and nuts different sizes. The square holes that are suppose to hold the bolts in place are too big causing turning of the bolt and nut. The top part doesnt fit together. The instructions that came had only the other style of weight racks not this one. For Golds gym its really poor quality.

This is... awful. I don’t like writing poor reviews but I couldn’t help myself with this one.All of the items for assembly simply don’t fit.None of the lock nuts will tighten on the screws, the whole item is clearly old and not sturdy. The pieces were not cut correctly.The only reason I’m not returning this is because of how difficult it would be to take it “apart” and send back but for anyone reading this, stay away and find an alternative.

Square neck on carriage bolts are too small to fit into the Square holes on the rack to prevent turning I had to buy 8 new carriage bolts, nuts, and washers that would be stay in place on the rack and that required me to drill and file the holes in the rack so the new larger bolts would fit. Also there are four places in the base of the rack where are the bolts come close to each other and using larger carriage bolts that would fit caused two of them to not fit beside each other and in that case I had to use a regular bolt, not a carriage bolt. The rack is solid but the hardware is wrong. When I called the number on the instructions for customer care, they suggested I just return the item; that they could not send me the correct hardware! I remember in the past most instructions for assembly say to not return the item and to call customer service to provide you with the corrected hardware and parts.
