RASTAR762 48900 "Ferrari LaFerrari Die-Cast Model

When this first arrived and I saw that it needed 5 AA batteries (3 in the car, 2 in the controller) I thought this was going to be an expensive toy for the kids to play with. I am happy to report that the kids have played with this for hours yesterday and today and the batteries (we used Rayovac) are just running down. (When we replaced the batteries in the car, the ones in the controller were still good.) That is amazing! Richard helped them put it through lots of tests this morning and they figured that the car could be up to 165ft away from the controller/operator and still work. That is also pretty impressive.SO is this car real sturdy? For its size (approximately 3 1/8" x 7 3/4") it is well built although admittedly mostly plastic. It works best on paved areas and not so well on grass which is to be expected. Underneath the car there is a white adjuster allowing you to properly align the wheels. The controller has up/down, left/right and if you use together for example up and left, the car will continue to move forward to the left. VERY easy for young kids to be able to figure out and use.IMPORTANT to note that there is no on/off switch on the controller. When you switch the car off, the controller light goes off.Packaging is good and there are no annoying ties to have to undo. Just untwist the black bits and the car will pop out! The three batteries are easy to install in the car but for the controller you will need a Philips screwdriver to unscrew the two compartments to enable installation of the batteries, one on each side.Car was provided in exchange for an honest review. This Ferrari RC racing car is beautiful even if you don't use it and just keep it on display. It's hard to figure out who enjoys it more, kids or grownups.

Great little toy car, fun fast on smooth surfaces. Flipped it over on concrete and didn't even have a scratch. Did a little drifting as well. I am very pleased.

My ferrets love this car!!! If you are going to use the car to just go around the room, make sure you keep it on a flat, uncarpeted surface. If you happen to want to keep your ferrets busy, the little mirrors on the doors of the car are made of rubber, and once they get their teeth on them, they can take it away and hide it! I think the controller works great and the distance is pretty good!

This is a great entry-level RC for a little kiddo. It's straightforward, quick, easy to drive, and it's quiet!

Great for young kids, too slow for kids 6 and up. Not impressed.

Great toy. My 30 year old husband loves it. Brought back some childhood memories. The mirrors are made out of some sort of silicone, so they won't break off. That's a plus for us. Get some rechargeable batteries and your set. Perfect for the price.

The car is supposed to be faster than a person who can run at a regular speed. The car is definitely that fast. The product is great. The kids like it.

El coche es bonito si lo vas a tener de exposición. 15 minutos de juego en casa y se ha partido el eje de la rueda. La ilusión de mi hijo convertida en decepción en un instante. Mejor guarda tu dinero y aléjate de disgustos. Fragilidad no apta para niños ni adultos.
