I recently purchased a new cage for my 22 year old cockatiel. The previous covers were just a mix of towels and a light blanket. This cover is perfect, it’s streamlined the process of putting him to bed at 4:30 ( yes he is an early bird ) . It could accommodate a wider cage but I just take up the slack with a wooden clothespin. The cover is beautifully tailored with two handles at the top to assist moving it on and off the cage. I peaked inside before I sealed up the Velcro seam and it is black in there ! That is important because he goes to bed before the sun goes down and doesn’t want to get up until around 8am. The fabric is really nice quality and breathable. I love it. This cover accommodates his cage which is 18 inches wide and 54 inches in height to the top of his play gym .

Good quality fabric and stitching, blackout but with a few barely opaque areas for good ventilation. No Smell - Yay! Needed a large size to cover dome top and glad to have it because it covers external attachments well. Very pleased with the purchase. Comes with a zippered storage bag. Looks a bit like Darth Vader when it's on, and I'm cool with that.

Are you trying to live on the cheap and throw a blanket over your bird cage? This is a much better alternative. A real bird cage cover, that actually fits, is of good quality and is a decent price. This is the nicest cover I have seen and almost fits my cage exactly. It is a good weight, not flimsy or fly away. It is DARK and that means my birds get the 12 hours sleep they require. Flying bird seed and feathers do not stick to it. I have only had it a short time but so far, I am loving it and birds are as well! Buy with confidence!

The cage was easy to assemble but does require some patience.But the real thing is worth it, and there's a lot of room to accommodate it.

Good length for larger rectangular cages. Adjustable flap with velcro to attach to the sides. This is much more reasonably priced than my previous cover, which looked like swiss cheese when my nasty grey Bailey got through with it. This cover I completely remove in the daytime and only replace at bedtime. It's not 100% light blocking, so if your cage is located near a morning light window be prepared to rise with your parrot. Mine is not next to a window but near a large glass sliding door that faces north, no issues.
