Good alternator.PLEASE NOTE: I received this item DOA. Installed on my 1965 Chevy C10, but only 12.7 volts from the voltmeter, not 14+ volts. This unit had sat on the shelf for too long that it lost it's magnetism to self-excite. However, it is an easy fix. With alternator installed, and 1 wire connected to battery, start engine. Then use a different wire and touch one end to the positive bolt on the back of the alternator, and with the other end of the wire touch the positive terminal on the alternator (it's the terminal closest to the positive bolt covered with a rubber shield.) This should "re-magnetize" the alternator. Sparks might appear but its ok, You only need to do this for a split second.Youtube video explaining this procedure: [...]

Very well made. Billet pulley was really nice . Much better quality than the auto stores.

You would be amazed the top quality this alternator is I would recommend this for anyone building a hot rod or a streetcar, I would buy this again for my next project.shipping was on point
