I initially bought 2 of these about a year ago to use camping. I liked them so much that I bought 2 more this fall. It works particularly well to string paracord across the campsite and hang them without the shade. They are so light that they don't cause much sag and it's easy to get them above the head level so that you don't bump into them.In addition to camping I've found other uses - in the bedroom they go nicely on the top rail of the four post bed pointing at the ceiling. It is kind of fun to pick a different color each evening depending on the mood. I would highly recommend rechargeable aaa batteries to go along with these. I use a 12 bay charger and have enough for all 4 lights twice (24 batteries).I'm also impressed with the customer service. I wrote asking how to purchase a few of the hanging clips (lost one) and they sent me a half dozen free of charge. Nice!

Horrible product. Had the same experience when I purchased (and returned) this product 4 months ago. Thought the first experience was an outlier. Wrong! Must say purchased the item few years ago fro m Touch of Wonder. Zero problems. I'll see if that site sells it.

I love this lil guy. I got one as a gift, then came here for another. The three brightness levels are great and the color shift is fun. Pick your shade or let it cycle. Put with some music and it really has the ability to create a mood in any room.

This light is simple to operate, takes a common battery type (AAA), and is very bright. The multi-color setting is a nice feature if you are looking for some mood/ambience lighting. It looks neat, can be used for any purpose from camping to a general night-light, and has a certain unique-factor to it. It may be a bit spendy for what it is, but I would still recommend it.

Sorry to say the design is fairly poor- the hanging hook doesn't fold away, but instead needs to be removed when not in use. The on/off button can be tricky to find on the bottom, particularly in a rush. When used as a lantern (at full brightness) the batteries last a maximum of 3 hours- not great for camping as advertised. Additionally, when in color mode, it's not possible to adjust the brightness. I had hoped to use this as a versatile light source- mock candle light on the table (can't adjust brightness in color mode), a bit of extra light by the stove (battery life too short), a quick lantern to run down to the basement and hang on a rafter while sorting through storage (annoying to insert and remove hook every time), an extra light source when camping (not durable, poor battery life, requires 3 AAA batteries).Ultimately, if this wasn't a shared purchase with my roommate, I would return it. Over priced. Design not up to par. But it does turn on and off, and functions reliably, so I have to give it 2 stars instead of 1.

This is the 2nd light I've bought because I really like these lights. I'm writing this review in hopes the maker will stop shipping the lights with the batteries pre-installed. The batteries (name brand) leaked acid which corroded the battery compartment. I will order another one but the maker should re-think how they are sold.Edit: i ordered a 3rd light. The batteries leaked in this light also but I cleaned it up enough for it to work. If you order this light, the batteries will mostly like leak in yours also when you get it.

This light is fun, durable and has a nice battery life. It was much smaller than I expected, but I get a bunch of compliments on this light and I love it. It puts out plenty of light on the highest setting and the colors are always fun. Once you get a hang of the controls (one click to go forward in the commands double click to go back) it's really easy to use. Water resistant is nice when your camping and accidentally leave it out in the rain.

This is our second light, replacement for the first light that arrived with the same issue- corroded batteries right out of the box. This light was to be the replacement for the first defective light. Both came in new, sealed packages. I'm guessing that the light isn't selling well and what is in inventory has been sitting for a long time. Now, have to contact Amazon for a refund. Don't waste your time or money. Total bust!

El control mediante un botón en la base es exquisito.El único handicap es que no lleva baterías recargables. De serie viene con 3 pilas AAA que si bien dejas muchas horas el punto de luz encendido, irá bajando de intensidad lumínica en cuanto éstas se vayan gastando. Solución... Comprad pilas recargables de ese tamaño.Por lo demás, perfecto.

蛍光灯がとにかく嫌いで、夜はキャンドルと他社のキャンドルライト系LEDなどで過ごすことが多いのですが、やはり暗過ぎるので、追加でこちらを買ってみました。なんせ手の平に収まるサイズなので、暗いんだろうなと思いきや！十分な明るさでテーブルにおけば食事もできそうです。これなら災害時にも役立ちそう。普段はお風呂上がりから寝るまでの家呑みのお供に使います。我が家はあまりキャンプなどはしませんが、テントの中ならかなり明るくも出来るんじゃないかなと。旅行先の照明がしっくり来ないことも多いので、このサイズだし、次は持っていくつもりです。説明書は英語のみですが、図解されているので、さほど困らないと思います。一瞬、高いかなと思いましたが、購入して正解でした。
