Great book on Flyer Buses
I would recommend this book. While a bit pricey, it's definitely for collectors and transit enthusiasts looking to get a good twentieth century history of Flyer Industries and their buses. This goes up to the D40-LF era, and is pretty comprehensive. Would've been great to have more full color pictures, but I'm still happy with it.Definitely recommended!

Western Flyer and New Flyer buses
I find this book to be a most informative tool in researching and documenting the incredible and unique works of this long established bus and coach builder. The collection of photos, both from the builder and other valuable sources, highlights the quality and individuality of the various models produced. The Flyer bus, in all its incarnations, is a vehicle both the transit industry and Canada can be proud of.Bill Luke's work is never anything less than superb and informative. This is a book that will be referred to many times in the coming years.joe caronetti

Disapointing
Very disapointing book. There is no logical structure in the book to tell the story of the company and its buses. To much pictures are of low quality. By far the worst book in this serie.

Bus book review
It was a good book. Could have used a few more historical photos, and less of the modern bus photos. And, why are ther scores of pictures from the front, but rarely (if ever) a picture from the back? This book is heavy on bus line info, but light on the actual design and construction og Western Flyer Buses. Section in the middle with color photos was nice.
