Zen Page-A-Day Calendar 2020

The philosophy is not aggressive, believing the realisation is in a sudden, a second, during uncertain timing we never really know.

Only the dates and quotes have changed.I've never quite forgiven them for their decision a few years ago to put Saturday & Sunday quotes on one page. I guess it saves them almost 1/365.25th of their materials cost.Mostly great quotes, with a few profound ones, and a couple of duds.

I love this calendar, have bought it for many years, it's always different and pertinent to the season (in the Northern Hemisphere). Very thought provoking.However, I've purchased it twice, in 2015 and 2019 because the first order didn't arrive, and I haven't been compensated or been able to make contact with Amazon about it.Nevertheless, I will still continue to purchase!

Got this as a new years present for myself. Was going to have a great, zen, 2020. It now rests lonely on my desk at work, in a dark, empty building, while I sit on the couch at home. It was nice for the few months I got to use it. Once quarantine is over, I'll have to go through it and see what I missed. Hopefully it's still 2020.

This is the eighth or ninth year that I have purchased this excellent and inspiring calendar. I use it in my counseling office to inspire others and when I see a quote that moves me, I take it home and post it on my refrigerator.

Bought this calendar for my brother several christmases ago. He liked it so much I buy it every year for him! Each day he looks forward for his zen quote, thought, poem and more!

From thoughtful, to profound, to absurd— a calm way to start your day before you hit coffee, news, traffic, etc.

I have had these types of calenders before from pageaday, which have all been super quality and very interesting, this however is cheap and often irritating. Its a pad attached to a plastic frame, which doesn't stand up very well. and each day you rip the previous day off to reveal the latest words of wisdom, some of which are so trite that I rip them off, which is therapeutic, however the words on the days less so.

My dad is a zen buddhist/neuroscience lecturer and he always has raved about this calendar since I bought it for him a few years back and every year since. Some beautiful, thought provoking, insightful quotes.
