Cerberus [DVD]

This is about as far removed from a good action film as your see, the plot is imaginative in the usual low budget film type of way, the acting is not good, we are treated to over acting bad guys and bland dull good guys.The plot involves a team of mercenaries stealing a breastplate from Romania, which holds the secret location of Attila the Huns tomb and the resting place of his magical sword.The plot is special because every few scenes they ladle on another layer of nonsense BS, The mercenaries work for a North Korean who wants the sword to take over the world, later we find out he also has 12 nuclear bombs (somehow) later the main good guy is possibly poisoned by a trap, but there again he may not be, no one knows or cares as its just another thing thrown in to pad out the run time and add another sub plot that is never mentioned again. later still we find out the bad guy and the good guy have a shared history, (this 'emotional' moment was filmed in almost total darkness so you cant see the actors face as he shares this with the party)There is tons of padding in the film, endless wandering around appallingly lit tunnels or standing around chatting drivel to each other, one scene involves a bunch of campers being killed, who are they? why are they there? no idea but we need the fill out a few more minutes so lets throw that in.This was filmed in Romania so we do at least get treated to a group of peasants with flaming torches and farm implements marching though town.The CGI is grim as to be expected from such a low budget, none of the actors look like Spec-op soldiers, all are middle aged with several being on the 'cuddly' side. Frankly I doubt half of them would get in to the salvation army, let alone a Spec ops team or high level mercenary outfitI've have given this two stars because the lead actress is pretty good, and it is amusing in its own way, more by accident than design.Also this is not an 18+ movie there is very little blood and most of that is done via really bad CGI, no nudity, there is an implied sexual assault, but the entire event happens off camera.

you know wen some one gets shot with a machinegun and they do this Elvis Presley dance? 🎸 and that's 5 mins in' you know it's going to be a pile of mince . forget about the big star ratings ' a lot of kids rating here. I'm 58

Trying hard to find something I liked about this film... Ah yes! The female lead, Emmanuelle Vaugier, she earned the one star in the rating as she was the only good point in the film. Her looks and acting ability were not enough to make up for all the rest, though.

Yes, of course, the plot is silly.But this is a fantasy adventure film...quite a good example of it's type

My friend is a fan of warewolves, so i hope hewill love it, the reviews on it look promisinga worthy film.

The quality of this film is terrible, seems blurry / out of focus for the most part. Kept thinking I needed new glasses, gave up in the end, waste of money, disgraceful releasing something as bad as this.
