This body wash is so moisturizing and leaves my skin feeling soft and deliciously scented. I love it.

Nubian Heritage Raw Shea Butter body wash is everything I could want in a bath product. I have extremely sensitive skin, so I only like to use natural/organic products. The problem is that it's hard to find natural products that are actually natural and don't have hormone-altering ingredients like sodium lauryl sulfate or some form of petroleum. Additionally, many natural products don't smell good, don't lather hardly at all, or just don't leave my skin with a "clean" feeling.NH shea butter body wash smells so nice and clean. It leaves my skin feeling fresh, but not perfumed. It doesn't irritate my skin, and it makes a light lather that is perfect for washing or shaving. I have even used it in my hair a couple of times when I ran out of shampoo, and it didn't dry it out at all!I have used SO many different natural/organic body washes, but I've never been as satisfied as I am with NH shea butter. As an added bonus, this company has an ethical supply chain that works toward alleviating poverty in the communities where their ingredients are sourced. Two thumbs up!

The lather this creates is astounding. However much you think you'll need on the scrubby puff; halve it. It leaves the skin very soft and smelling lovely.I didn't really expect this to smell like the frank and myrrh I am used to from another company, and it doesn't. I can't in honesty even classify it as an oriental. It is a soft, slightly sweet butter scent with a touch of powder. It tilts toward the feminine, but would not smell out of place on a man. And the scent lasts. If you don't wear perfume, it will last most of the day, and you'll just smell pretty and clean.Showering daily, I estimate this bottle to last a good 4 months. So although it's a bit expensive for the amount, it ends up as a great value.

My issue with this company is that their products are not CONSISTENT! That is why i don't buy them all the time. This batch however is good.This product is a bit watery in consistency but, do not be fooled. It works well on a washcloth and on a Goshi /mesh like product! Winters here are brutal and are as dry as the desert. i want clean skin but i also want moisturized skin. This does the trick. I like this go round.

I like the smell and the lather of this soap. Unfortunately because of the price I think I will probably switch to bar soaps when this bottle is through. I love the Nubian Heritage shea butter and myrrh lotion though.I was also sad that the product pictured was not what I received, it is a different formula. It has more ingredients. But still works and smells great.

I have struggled with dry skin conditions my entire life, and more recently, the skin conditions associated with diabetes. Most "commercial" body washes have chemicals that, while providing a nice scent, also dried my skin. I was intrigued by the contents of the Nubian Heritage body wash and their all-natural ingredients, and decided to give Nubian Heritage a try. The Frankincense and Mrryh provide a nice scent so that I don't need the deodorants associated with commercial body washes. The raw shea butter has healed my skin, and the dryness is gone. The body was is super concentrated, and develops a ton of rich lather. Although the cost seemed a little high, you can't put a price on the benefits that this wash provides for your skin. If you have dry and cracking skin, I highly recommend the Nubian Heritage line of products.

I am always looking for products with raw shea butter for my skin, I have psoriasis and have several prescription lotions to manage my condition. Unfortunately for the prescription lotion, the remedy is short lived. After months of use, the medicine becomes ineffective. So another prescription is added to my regime and this keeps going on and on until you come to the conclusion that there is simply no cure. I have also used shea butter but oftentimes what I find are heavily perfumed and / or simply raw. The Nubian product - both body wash and lotion are very creamy and smooth. It has helped me tremendously in keeping my skin moist and outbreak free. I have lessened my prescription use to simply the Nubian Heritage products - body wash & lotion. I have shared my experience with my dermatologist who I see regularly in managing my condition and she has added both products to recommend for her other patients. I can never have enough of this product and keep my shelves well stocked. The list of prescription lotions and my dependency on them have slowly diminished. YAY!!!!!

I usually use Dr. Bronners Castle soap (which I still use) but was looking for something a little less drying. I first saw this soap in a store in Harlem some years earlier but while browsing Amazon came across it again and was really excited because I remember liking the soap. Although the formula is mainly Coconut oil like the castle soap I think the Shea butter in this soap helps achieve more of a moisturizing capablility. Not to mention it is SUPER concentrated, a little goes a looong way and that is why I say its worth the $9, $10 although I will say the shipping is expensive. I will estimate that it lasts AT LEAST 2x as long as a regular size bodywash from the local grocery/walmart and that is with two people using it everyday once a day. My boyfriend thinks I spend too much money on frivilous items but he attests and raves about the value of this soap, he loves it too! And did I mention it smells good and i can smell it on myself throughout the entire day. So far the pros have me buying it a third time now from Amazon although the shipping charges may get to be too much...
