A Young Woman's Guide to Making Right Choices: Your Life God's Way

I did this book for school, and greatly enjoyed it. I really like how Elizabeth George starts off every chapter with a pretend situation of a girl learning to make right choices. It is set up very easy to read and she asks penetrating questions that get you thinking about your walk with God.I think my favorite part of this book was the very last chapter where she connected everything and talked about trusting God. I will definitely read this book again, not for school, but in my own free time. I highly recommend this book to any girl who wants to grow in her walk with God.

Bought this for my 13 year old granddaughter and her mom to read together and share. I read through the book and it is filled with situations that are real for young people today. It doesn't "talk down" or tell the reader what to do. Great for opening discussions about making wise choices and the consequences for making poor ones or choices that are not thought through.

I’m a spiritual counselor at church for 7th and 8th grade girls so I bought this book to read. I am recommending this to our Middle School Pastor as an approved book to give to our girls. I believe they’ll be able to relate to it because of the fictional character that faces the same issue they do in real life.

I read this book when my daughter was 16 and then again when all my children were grown and I was teaching the teen girls' SS class. It is the best book that Liz George has written in that it captures you from the very first paragraph and then you are hooked ... and it is so true. Every teenage girl that read it was laughing as they could see that what was said was true even in their lives. Excellent if you are teaching teenage girls in any kind of setting. Thank you Liz for writing this.

I have used this book as my daily Bible lesson for homeschooling with my 14 year old. It has been an excellent conversation starter for us. Looking up the different bible scriptures has been an excellent way to explain to my daughter who our standard setter is and whose standard should guide our daily choices. The last few chapters were not useful to us as we are not into the dating culture. But the rest of the book has been wonderful. I can see how this would have great applications in a group enviroment, especially for girls who attend schools.

Currently reading this along with my 13yr old and so far love it. It informative and speaks to them on their level. It has questions that a child can use to write on their journal. I just love it & so does my daughter.

Gave this as a gift to my teenage grand daughter.

So far, we are enjoying this in our youth Sunday school class of all girls.
