Used initially to find the correct temp for the various bakes we do as the temp scale on our oven is less than accurate.The timer is essential and pretty easy set up and loud enough that we can forget about the bake until the timer reminds us. The large screen makes it easy to read at a glance.

Wanted to check our old oven is heating correct. Thermometer easy to use (AAA batteries not supplied) worked straight away. Checked in boiling kettle first as boiling water is obviously just below 100°c, dead on would be all steam lol. Read 98.5 so fine. Checked old and new ovens, both registered right temp, so happy the thermometer is accurate. You can dangle probe in oven or liquids, or stick in meat etc. Got timers etc on but temperature needs no setting up. Back-light with button. Recommended!

Needed a new oven thermometer in a hurry and this one was the simplest I could get. Works well and seem extremely accurate. Don't know how well it'll last but that always the case with taking the cheap option.

Very nice little unit especially for the price. The display in clear and it’s easy to set the timer. It has upper and lower temperature alarms which can be set and then turned on or off as required. As it’s an LCD it uses very little current so can be left on for long periods. The only criticism is the magnets on the back could be stronger as it’s only just strong enough to prevent it sliding down whatever it’s stuck on. Finally but of little consequence, although the photo in the description shows the words CURRENT TEMP on the display, it actually reads TENP. But who cares!

Bought two of these. They are usually 2°C apart even when the probes are close together. For what I’m using them for that’s fine.With one the clips holding the back on we’re broken in transit. I’ve glued it back together fine.

Don’t bother purchasing this as it reads the incorrect temperature at the higher end of the scaleThey cannot even read the correct temperature of water boiling. 68°?? Obviously this is the incorrect reading.When I first purchased the item it works fine after a few days started work incorrectly . Try be obvious and put new batteries in but this didn’t make any difference . Clearly there’s something wrong with the sensor .. sent it back for a refund. Typical Chinese rubbish I really don’t know why Amazon are selling stuff which clearly is not up to standard… A little note for Amazon . You must stop items which are clearly buy on from AliExpress on Amazon at the cost of three times the amount for this Chinese rubbish which doesn’t work. Not only are you damaging your own reputation you are will eventually lose all your customers because they will get fed up of returning items but because you cannot be bothered to sell quality items . From a customers point of you I would recommend avoiding this item as it’s really not worth the hassle…

Easy to use and accurate.

I used this to monitor how long my gas oven takes to get to temperature (22 minutes!) and how accurate the numbers were (not very) for following packaging guidelines as I always had to leave food in for longer than they said - now I know why. Now in a drawer ready for when we change our old oven over to electric when we can allow people in again.

I use this thermometer when heating up and cooling milk for making yogurt. The High and Low alerts let me know when I have reached the required temperatures. Works very well. Would buy again.
