I'm an aspiring doula and will definitely be using this for my studies and actual services.

Our amazing birth team was kind enough to gift us these cards. If you have not heard of Kimberly Ann Johnson and you are having a baby, you have to know who she is and what she is about.As a practicing prenatal chiropractor, I have seen over the past ten years of clinical practice our conventional healthcare system do virtually nothing to fill the gaping whole that is post-partum. As my wife powerfully and peacefully birthed our baby at home, Kimberly's book prepped us for mentally for the Fourth Trimester but her cards... her cards... made it so much more experiential.We are so grateful for Kimberly's work. She's helping expectant patients seeing into that blind spot and HEAL at a deep level. These cards are the best baby shower gift or should accompany that meal you bring to your friend who has just had a baby.And Dad's... this helps you heal too.

I'm a new post partum doula. Before meeting with a client I pick one card from each of the 5 different focus areas. I read them and they help guide me to a place of confidence and open heartedness. They remind me of the things a new mother goes through so I can tap back into that feeling and connect more. I love that it is like reading the book but at a quick glance and honestly...the feel of a card does make it feel more playful, play is pleasurable and that makes me WANT to go to the cards more than the thought of thumbing through multiple books or committing to more screen time :/

NOT your generic “you-go-mama” trite affirmation cards. These are beautiful and inspiring and serve as amazing journal prompts. Strongly recommend
