I would say go for a out of brand plastic box for this price.My family member bought this without my knowledge and when I looked at the product, I felt we are paying a premium for the brand than anything else. (can be said for any lego sets too).So if you dont mind about the brand go with any generic storage boxes than this overpriced rectangular box.The product itself is sturdy and smooth to close. Would not recommend to get it though.

Great, hard to find, colors I wanted. Bento box, with style.Read size. Smaller than ideal. Kinda of costly. Do not want to head food directly in it, as it would get ruined. Not airtight. Have issue fitting many sandwiches, especially part of poor-boys. Regular bread/toast sandwich will have to be cut in half, stacked & wrapped. Won't fit too much/all with mini tupperwear containers. But still use from time to time.

I am not sure how this product is supposed to be a lunch box (unless for pre-k). Super useful as Lego storage box for small parts and as a container to do smaller builds. Its shape and colors make it also a nice display container to have.

I got this lunchbox to bring my fruit to work in a fun and geeky way.Having always been a lego guy since I was a child, I found this lego lunchbox a great feature.It conveniently will fit an apple, a pear and a kiwi, but as some other reviewers have called out, the box is a bit short, which means that when the fruit is a bit bigger, it can cause the box not to completely close to the bottom, but be half closed - since the closing "mechanism" is sliding the inner box fully into the outer box, this isn't a very big problem though as it is still closed and doesn't open up easily in your backpack as the 2 layers are fit together very tightly and as such you really have to pull them from each other to open them (or watch as the 2 parts separate very slowly if you just hold the top part).Overall I do recommend this great box and it comes in a lot of colors, I have the black for myself and the red for my other half, 4 stars for the slight mis-sizing that it is half an inch too small for some of the bigger apples out there.

I bought these for my oil paints since a cardboard box wasn't going to cut it, but let's be serious about this size. No reviewer is underestimating their measurements, You're getting a good 2 1/4" x 7 3/4" of usable space. And set aside space, I don't understand how anyone could use this as a lunch box; it doesn't clasp shut! If you hold it upside down, the top slides off! Now if you want to give your little one packaged snacks in their playroom fine, but if you put this in their book bag and they hold it the wrong way, everything is going to fall out.Now, I would definitely buy this again - for storage at my desk. I might buy another for my pens or paint brushes. It looks adorable, it's a nice red and it's well made. Legos just make me smile.

Expected it to be a little bigger but still a cool gift

Bought for grandson’s birthday. He really enjoys legos. He has been having fun carrying his lunch/snacks in a lego.

Perfect for our need

This is about the size of a lunchbox or large pencil case. As per everyone else’s reviews I was negotiating through the larger storage boxes and came to this one. Whilst the description is clear, having read so many already, I didn’t read in full and ordered. The title of this item needs to include ‘small’ or ‘lunchbox’ or similar

This is not a storage box as you would expect for the price and description, it is a small lunchbox. I find the written description very misleading

What a joke! The size is so small, I’m supposed I could fit more than 2 Lego bricks in! As for lunch box…yeah, right!!!Obviously the size and dimensions are on the description but the infographic of the size is very misleading….I tried to buy one the same size of a black one my son already has, which looks the same as the graphic but no, not at all.For almost £20, this is a complete rip off

I bought this as a gift and I'm so angry to discover that both ends are badly scuffed. It looks like old plastic that someone has already owned for years. The cardboard sleeve it comes in only protects the bottom and 2 sides, the top studs and ends are vulnerable to being scratched up and they have been badly! I will be returning this item.I haven't opened the cardboard sleeve since I'm returning it, but at first glance, it's very small so wouldn't hold much, just like most others have complained about. It really isn't worth the money and definitely doesn't scream quality like I would expect from a Lego product.
