Forgot to review these from days ago so here goes.These bite alarms work really well and although they don't have all the features of the expensive oness they do actually work.As long as the you set them up with the correct tension once you put your bait in the water they are really good. They are quite loud and there is a nice little on/off switch on the rear so that you don't have to irritate everybody when you're setting them up. I bought these over a year ago and I'm still on the first set of batteries.Overall I was incredibly pleased as I didn't expect much.

Only thing I really don't like about this is replacing the batteries!! I took them out thinking they were dead or needed to make contact, WRONG! 😕There's a wee on/off button that you need to press to switch it on. Missed it first time round and found it by accident the second time 🤗Worked really well!!

I found the idea great and very is to use and compact however the alarm sound is a high pitch alarm and loud very similar to a panic alarm tone I haven’t used as I sure people would call emergency services if they heard that alarm going of in a dark park

just the job

Easy to use and works. However, the alarm is too sensitive for sea fishing due to heavier lines, wind and tide currents. I had to modify and stiffen the sensitivity.I am sure the alarm will be good for lake or river fishing with lighter line and calm conditions.I would make a suggestion to the manufacturer to modify so the sensitivity can be adjusted to suit different conditions.
