good value for the money
So, Eriding water rower is a copy of the rowing machine made by WaterRower. I also own a WaterRower made in cherry. The Eriding costs 50% of the official WaterRower. Everything about it appears the same, but there is some quality difference in each of the parts. But, I would say it is kind of like the difference between LL Bean and Patagonia. Patagonia, in my opinion, is 10% better but costs 50% more. The WaterRower is a better machine, but at twice the price. I will say that the Black Walnut machine from Eriding is actually stiffer than the cherry original I have. (stiff is always good in rowing). The one thing that is not as good is the monitor. The WaterRower S4 monitor is in another league. On monitors, your real need is for time and distance to be consistent. All these monitors may not correlate to what a broken down old AARP rower like me would actually do on the water, but consistency is key and this product will do the time, distance consistently. I want to have a speed reading as well and this monitor only gives a calorie reading and does not have an actual speed reading that will let you know how much your power 10 has accelerated your pace. The S4 from WaterRower does have that. The biggest surprise in this purchase was the customer service. I was concerned that buying from a Chinese company would mean "Good luck getting any attention". Wrong! The customer service was VERY responsive and prompt dealing with my monitor questions. I don't like the bluetooth app link up, but they are very responsive and sent me one of their prior model monitors, which has been modeled on the S4.. Overall, this is good value for the money. Finally, I would spend the extra $100 to get the Black Walnut.

Exceeded expectations
The E-RIDING rowing machine exceeded my expectations. Arrived early, packed well, instructions are clear on both assembly and monitor use. Mechanically it functions perfectly and is very quite other than the desired water surge.Very happy with this choice.Ps; significant item in making this choice over other similar offerings, no branding displayed on machine.

WaterRower for half the price.
Product is great. Works as advertised and looks like a proper WaterRower. It is also compatible with most WaterRower accessories like the tablet arm and SmartRow which is great. The built in device is compatible with a Chinese app called FitShow, which is pretty simple, but it also has Bluetooth which also makes it compatible with things like Kinomap.Because of Covid. Shipping took a while because it’s such a large item. But it was definitely worth the wait and the company was very responsive as I reached out to them.Would definitely recommend.

A fabulous rower! Highly recommend...
I bought this rowing machine after considerable research and could not be happier. Our model is the black walnut version. It is not laminate but sturdy, solid, high-quality wood. It took us a little under 90 minutes to assemble it. I suggest having two people do it. It came within less than 10 days of our order, and both boxes arrived on the same day. The pump included is battery operated, and it both puts the water in and removes it. The only assembly part we found a little bit tricky was inserting the footholds--there is a button between them where they need to be inserted. That button needs to be depressed to insert the plastic foothold(s )properly. Once you have them to where you want them, let the button go. Our button is a little hard to press--but once you know to press it firmly, adjusting the footgear is easy. There is no logo on the machine--which makes it all the more attractive in my opinion, and the rowing--is second to none. Smooth, easy, and the sound it creates is gentle-- it definitely adds to the pleasant rowing experience. It comes with a monitor that can be hooked up to Bluetooth--I use the simple version--it automatically comes on when you start rowing and tracks your time, the row count (strokes), and the meters (FYI, 3219 meters equals a mile.)We have a yoga mat underneath it, I am not sure it's entirely necessary, but since we have hardwood floors and it's is on the second floor, the mat helps absorb a bit of sound and protects the wood from any excessive scratching that might take place. Lastly, if you need to move the rower, it's a one-person job and can easily be stored upright if you so choose.Honestly, if you are looking for a rower comparable to WaterRower--I suggest this as your go-to. It's been a great investment for us!

Customer Relations
Good day, first and foremost thank you for taking the time to read this review. This Water Rower is great, easy to assemble, clean, and store upright. I bought is some months ago and when I had an issue with the 1st tank having a rust issue inside the water chamber due to some exposed screws and other metal bits I wrote a message to the company who was pretty fast and understanding and not only sent me out a free water tank part but also rush delivered it at no expense to me, and has updated their water chamber. This company cares about the feedback from its clients and respects their time and money. Overall, I will be looking to this group if I have any more questions about this product or some of their other products.Kindly,Daniel

Perfect
This is exactly what we were looking for. It works wonderfully and is easy to stand up and roll out of the way. The real bonus is that it is so good looking we can leave it in the living room. That way it is easy to access and actually gets used. Would recommend.

FIVE STARS!!
Awesome rowing machine. Everything works perfectly, and I think it looks nice stood up in the corner. Super easy to move around also, and doesn't scratch up my hardwood floors.

Great but not perfect for 70
Assembly was forthright and accurate fitting. I love the water resistance and sound but it also does not allow easy resistance change which I don’t really need anyway. I am 70 years old and find it comfortable for 5-25 minutes at a time. It would be easier to get on and off if it was 6” off the floor. I seldom use the foot rests included and most often keep my feet on the floor and against the frame. I use it daily.
