After having WLS in April, I’ve struggled to get my protein in. I’m unable to drink traditional protein shakes and powders due to them causing stomach upset. My dietician recommended this, and I am SO glad she did. To me the mix isn’t sweet at all, it’s more tangy (which I like). The texture is a little thick, but it’s not bad. I also keep mine room temperature since I prefer most of my liquids that way. I take 2 shots a day - one in the morning and one in the evening and it causes zero stomach upset.

My dietician at the kidney center recommended I try this particular drink. Dialysis patients need a goodly amount of protein in their renal diet. As a result, after a month of having the Vidafuel, my labs came back that my protein level had picked up to an acceptable range. Although I was eating protein in my diet, it wasn't complete enough because of my digestion. Vidafuel had no ill effect on my digestion at all. The product comes with a 2oz cup for measuring the exact amount of the drink. 2oz = 16g of protein. That would be the approximate level of a good turkey meal.

I am required by my naturopath to get more protein in my diet and I'm always on the look out for liquid protein that tastes good and doesn't cost an arm and a leg! So I saw this and decided to give it a try. The selling point for me was the fact it didn't have that nasty tasting sucrolose crap in it. I'd rather have real sugar or even monk fruit in something versus that stuff any day. I'm used to buying the Liquidcel stuff. I also can't handle drinking 8oz of a protein shake every day either. I need least amount of volume with the most protein basically. So I seen this. Saw the flavor berries and cream! Sounded great! Fast forward to a few days ago when this arrived. First off, the whole bottle leaked. Amazon refunded my money for that. But I decided to take a swig of what was left in the bottle. If ya all could of seen my face after taking a big gulp!! Berries and cream?? Really? More like chemicals and plastic!! Oh my lord. Even the nasty sucrolose stuff is better tasting! The dirt in my garden would even be better! Nope! This was bad. Good attempt at creating something different but did ya all taste it first before you put it into production??

I started taking VidaFuel for bone and joint health. I workout a lot and have noticed the toll it takes on my body. After taking VidaFuel, my joints feel better and my muscles recover faster from soreness. Also my skin is soft and smooth. And it's just so easy only having to take 2 oz every morning. I love the taste, the fact there aren't any artificial sweeteners and that it's not too sweet as well. I'm making VidaFuel a part of my daily wellness plan from now on!!!

I used to drink all the heavy powders and buy them in bulk from Costco. Now that this is available on Amazon and I can mix it with my smoothies, there is no looking back. The flavor is good but I personally mix it with some Almond Milk if I want to drink it straight. The convenience of VidaFuel is unbeatable.

But I am surprised how many people thinks this tastes "great". I think it tastes icky, especially the artificial aftertaste. I take it like a shot of alcohol, which I don't like. But, it does exactly what it says, and the renal system digests easily and doesn't have the key minerals which you should track to help with kidney issues.

I recently purchased vida fuel daily wellness protein drink in the berries and cream flavor. I am pleased to say that now after using this product I have considerably less pain in my joints -the cold weather is not my friend!! The benefits are tremendous. I feel so much more energetic!!! In addition, I know Collagen is helpful for my skin. I see improvements inside and out!!! I will be making this drink a part of my daily routine!
