500M Polyester Spools Reflective Nylon Sewing Embroidery Thread Roll Compatible to Sewing Machines for Hat Clothes Artcraft Making (Gray, 500m)

I really like this thread. It’s thin enough to be used in my sewing machine but so far, has been strong enough to resist breaking. It hasn’t snapped yet! I’m using it along with the reflective material and piping I bought to add reflective details to my husbands running clothes and motorcycle gear for more visibility at night. I gave it five stars because it reflects nicely and has not broken off in my sewing machine like a lot of other threads do. (My machine is old and heavy and I need to use good strong thread on any tension setting) I cannot find a single thing so far that I don’t like about this!

Not reflective at all. I wanted to add this to my dog's collar. It wont help or provide the protection I was hoping for.I dont know how a company believes its a good idea to advertise highly reflective, when they know people will use it for safety. Then, it will provide no safety putting people at risk. Blissful ignorance of tort.

its definitely reflective but it doesnt LOOK reflective on the spool (just looks grey). but then i sewed with 3 pieces in half (so 6 threads total) onto the edge of a bikini, turned the lights off and put my flash on it. its not as reflective as i wanted but i get it - its thread.

I used it as a carrier thread in several hats I’ve knitted this winter. It reflects well at night for quite a distance. It isn’t too noticeable during the day either.Both of these qualities were helpful when my five year old asked for a Batman hat. I wasn’t so excited about a totally black hat. This made his dream come true and made me know drivers would be aware of him.

Was looking for piping this is a thread. Will see if I can get it to do what I want.

The thread is not good enough (strength) to use IN a machine, is too fine to use as trim and not at all reflective other than what silver/grey would normally be at night. Not recommended.

I was skeptical that this thread wouldn’t reflect that well... i was so wrong. I bought it to decorate my dog collars to be able to spot her in the backyard. Instead of buying new collars i just decorate her current ones!

Well worth EVERY penny! Knits up nicely and as you can see in the photo reflects well! One photo is with, the other is without flash to showcase how well this reflects.

Die Garnrolle kam beschädigt an. Ich habe die gerissenen Stellen abgewickelt und habe es so hingenommen.In der Beschreibung stand, dass das Garn auch für die Nähmaschine geeignet ist.Ich habe verschiedene Nadelstärken ausprobiert jedoch hat sich das Garn jedes mal auseinandergedreht und verheddert und ist somit gerissen.Ich kann nicht beurteilen inwiefern das Garn zum stricken oder sticken geeignet ist, jedoch habe ich es zum nähen gekauft und kann es somit nur mit einem Stern bewerten.

Attention, le fil est très épais donc pas forcément adapté pour toutes les broderies. Ici vous pouvez voir une broderie a 80% de densité. Le calibrage de la machin est a revoir un peu la densité a diminuer encore plus.Le fil est tellement épais qu'il devient très visible. En revanche il est solide (composé d'un vrai fil englobant un brin de plastique réfléchissant)
