I have a 9 year old with Down syndrome, and a 6 year old. I bought the book to keep in our library, but it is the book most selected by my 6 year old to read at night. She started going to the same school as her sister, and this helped her to talk to friends about her sister. I love that she has a full toolbox when other kids may have questions. I have caught her saying "how boring would it be if we were all the same" so sweet!

I actively seek books that promote inclusion, empathy and kindess for my children. I'm so glad we found Eli, Included. My daughter enjoyed that the book answered questions that she had about challenges that children with exceptionalities face and how that knowledge can help her to love others well. As the executive director of a Down syndrome association, it's key that we share stories that include those with disAbilities to educate others. This heartwarming story is a beautifully illustrated and told lesson in appreciating the differences each of us has. It will, no doubt, encourage youngsters to have more conversations about Down syndrome and learn to accept, include and value the extraordinary gifts those with Down syndrome bring to our lives.

Absolutely couldn’t recommend this book more! My typical kids love it, my whole family loves it!! It’s so great! Use this book to open up conversations, to support your child or just so you can be a part of the community. It’s a must have for original rocking moms!

A delightful story about a boy named Eli who has Down syndrome: a condition which is explained via very cute and colorful illustrations of Eli's day at school. The book is such a good way to foster understanding and inclusion of others with special needs and challenges. It should be a must-have for every elementary school class library.

I love this book!! I am going to read it to my daughter’s class next week. And let’s be honest all the class I read in for now on. The story is easy to follow and engaging. The illustrations are so cute. Eli’s shirt is the absolute best!
