Quite snug...
I am a uk size 8 so opted for the M size which is given as up to 8.5 on the size guide. These are a very very snug fit for me and, on long runs, tend to ride down into my shoe.

favourite running socks
My favourite running socks, definitely not the cheapest but they last and I don't get blisters like with some of the cheaper ones out there. Also find they dont shrink in the wash. They are a tight fit but are supposed to be, so as long as you like that then you can't go wrong.
