I love this stuff. It's the only pomade I've used for several years now. Has a good hold, but kind on the hair and doesn't look dirty/greasy when I go a few days between washing. Granted, I'm just controlling flyaways whilst my hair is pulled back, not styling in earnest.And it smells great! Nice light citrus-y scent.Would highly recommend, and please recommend it after you've tried yourself: I don't want them ever going out of business, so my supply never runs dry.

This stuff is fantastic. I just added this to my pomade rotation last week and it is my go to now. I've been rotating between American Crew Forming Cream (green label) and Suavecito for awhile. This works better for me than the other two. The hold is firm and lasts all day with a medium shine that looks very natural. The scent is very nice, lightly citrusy, I greatly prefer it over Suavecito's cola(?) scent. Also, something I don't get with the other 2 that I get with this is the ability to fix my hair later in the day and have it hold without having to apply more product or use water which can make your hair look overly shiny or greasy. It's pricey... pricey enough that I will keep trying other pomades to find a balance between price and performance. But this is definitely at the top of the list for performance for me so far. I highly recommend giving it a try.

I recently switched to Hippie Killer from Rodante XXX strong hold pomade going for $16.95 for a 2 oz plastic container. Hippie Killer comes in a 4 oz nicely packaged glass container for 18.99 and has a much more pleasant scent and hold. Not only does it take less product for the same hold... a little dab will do... you get way more product for just a slightly higher price! I also like the logo and the tag line... "For vagabonds... gentlemen & ruffians".This is my new go to pomade and will replenish as needed.

I absolutely love this pomade. Very malleable and easy to work through your hair unlike a lot of pomades. Also easier to wash out. Both of these are key for my preference as well as the strong hold it gives. This is my everyday go to. The smell is so amazing and my gf loves it which is even better. Highly recommend!!!

Love the scent. Clean classy citrusy scent. Girl asked me to reserve as the special occasion pomade cuz its classy. Holds really well.

Finally, my perfect pomade. Another reviewer described it best -- as having qualities of both a gel and a pomade. And since it's water based, it is easy to wash out. I'm not a fan of scents, but the grapefruit notes in this pomade aren't bad at all. Great product.

This is honestly the best hair product I’ve ever used. It smells great and keeps my hair in place. Most of all, it leaves my hair feeling nice, clean, and natural, not sticky or hard like some other products do.

Love this product, but the shipping bag wasn't enough to protect the lid. That being said, I'm almost done my old one so will reuse the lid.Will keep buying!!!

Matte: This is a great wax that will definitely give you the matte, texturized look you want out of your hair. The only criticism I have is that it can start losing its cohesion after a couple of house, and needs either a reapplication or some hairspray after the first go. YMMV, as my hair is very thick and stubborn to manage.Pomade: Surprisingly versatile for the lightness of the product, and provides a great shine and allows for excellent manipulation. It's water-soluble unlike the matte, and easily washes off the hands after applying.

Review for the Hippie Killer Pomade.This has been my go to hair-styling product for the past year or so. I usually buy this from the barbershop for $24+tax, but it's great that I see it on Amazon for $18+tax.What I love about this product is that it smells nice, has a great hold, and easily washses off your hands. I've tried American crew (but it flakes), Miurrays (hard to wash off), and other products before, but this Pomade has everything you need. I usually apply it after the shower and my hair is still a bit damp. For me, the product hardens the hair and then it becomes softer again, but still with the hold.

Great product. Keeps the beard in place.
