VIGOVG02001ST 19" H Edison Single-Handle with Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Stainless Steel

This should have been a high-end pre-rinse faucet providing care-free service. In fact, the original feed hose which came with the unit was kinked and would barely pass water. After two unanswered emails using Vigo's web-form inquiry tool, I spoke by phone with Vigo tech support. He said they would send me a replacement hose. But it took a second phone call and complaint to Vigo management before the hose was actually dispatched. Sadly, the replacement hose came with a built-in 'curl' or set. The hose would not flex outside of the plane of this 'curl'. Since the faucet swivels, there is only one position in which the swivel plane and the 'curl' plane coincide - everywhere else, the hose binds in the tube. At either limit of the faucet swivel, the hose will not even extend. The replacement does pass water and has not kinked... yet. All of this is a sad commentary if you consider that we have been making inexpensive flexible hoses which will flex in every direction for at least 70 years. I have worked in professional kitchens where the sinks were equipped with pre-rinse faucets and never seen this kind of problem or quirkiness.-----I've used this faucet for 3 months. Here is a bit more information. After a rough start (see above) the faucet has performed quite well. It's easy to use and works as intended. Judging from the solid stainless-steel construction, it will probably last forever. There are two nice features which a buyer might consider. First, the faucet uses a Spanish-made Sedal cartridge to control water flow. These are very nice cartridges which will last a long time. If purchased on-line, they cost less than $10 (buy the genuine Sedal cartridge - not the Chinese knock-off). These cartridges are not yet widely available in the US home improvement stores but that should change over the next few years. Of course, Vigo should supply a replacement if needed under warranty. The cartridges are easy to change. Second, this faucet uses a standard faucet aerator - the small gizmo that makes bubbles. This aerator is available on-line for less than $1. It's easy to change. If you live in a hard water area, the aerator and cartridge are two parts which may lime-up and need replacing and Vigo made this task easy and inexpensive.

I had the purchased the sink/faucet combo 7 years ago - I decided to replace the faucet this year with the exact same because of the how well it held up and because it worked perfectly over the years - it was easy to change out and everything lined up as it should - this company makes a great product and I would purchase from them again

We had to buy a new sink when we bought our new house and decided to upgrade with a new faucet as well. It arrived very well packaged and looks beautiful installed. We bought the one that was black and stainless and glad we did. The deck plate does not come with it so you have to buy one separately. The first one the company sent us was incorrect even though it was marked flat black. I called the company and they told me to toss the one I had and they'd send me a new one which they did within a couple of days. A real pleasure to work with over the phone.

So I have had this installed in our kitchen for a little more than 6 months. While it looks great it is becoming ever more frustrating to try to use. The button on the side that switches it from normal to spray mode started messing up a month or two ago. Just doing weird things at first like having to click it twice to switch them or sometimes seeming like it stuck and the pressure coming out is halved. Well now it has completely stopped working. It has been stuck on spray for a couple days now but the icing on the cake is that it is also stuck at half pressure as well. So it isn't even strong enough to actually rinse a plate off of anything that has any actual traction. But if you take off the handle (trying to see if it was mineral build up even though they claim the faucet shouldn't have it) the pressure coming out of the hose is amazing. So unless you can replace the handle piece by itself the sink is just about useless. And even then replacing it every six months would become annoying and a money drain that a sink never should be. Overall, looks nice and worked great for about 5 months but since then I have learned the build quality sucks. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this.

Easy to install, my husband had no complaints except he doesn't like lying on the floor. Spray and flow are steady. Have to pull down to release the sprayer from the bracket, suggest doing this when the water is off.

Purchased this a about two years ago and now the hot water just trickles out.

I really like this faucet. The color combination was perfect. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 starts was because I wish it had a stronger setting for the water coming out.

The product received was not as shown on vendors ad. The photos look black, so I was surprised that the faucet was actually grey. The seller is enforcing a restocking fee, in addition to the return shipping costs, which is garbage. This is not stated in any of their online descriptions. Do better, VIGO.

Was exactly what I wanted and considerably cheaper than other sources when we bought it. It's easy to use and so much nicer than having a separate sprayer. The water pressure dropped after a bit of use, but turns out its the weight that pulls the cord back up. Adjusted that and it's fine. Had it installed a couple of months now, very pleased with function.

The media could not be loaded.  I have the VGO2001ST. Very impressed with the packaging. No way this could get damaged in shipping! Instructions were straight forward. The stainless steel finish matches well with the 304ss counter on my bar. Install was easy and the water connections don’t leak. I used 2 wraps of the supplied Teflon tape on each connection. The water valve on the handle has a nice feel to it and moves smoothly. The extension is awesome and works good. The transition from spray to solid stream works well. The water pressure is great. I did remove the pressure reducer fitting to allow for maximum flow. There are some cons however, which is why I have it 4 stars.1-The pull down hose is black nylon pvc, as advertised in the description. SS braided hose would be much nicer, but I get what u pay for.2- There is no swivel between the water hose and the nozzle.3- The water supply lines are braided pvc or nylon, not metal as advertised.For the price point this is an incredible faucet! I would purchase it again! You would pay more to get the features listed in my cons, which I did not want to do. Although, I did contact the manufacturer about the water supply lines and they said this is their new standard for this faucet, the metal lines have been discontinued.

This is so unfortunate. We purchased this faucet because of its great looks and great price. The first one came out - small leak in the handle, started after about 3-4 days, got worse over the next week. No problem, we'll just send it back using Amazon's awesome return policy and have it replaced with a new one. New one arrives, and it doesn't leak in the handle - sweet! The problem this time is that the faucet head has a crack in it then when its switched to spray function makes the water jet out of the crack on the side about a foot to the left with high pressure. No worries, we just got two lemons! Using Amazon's awesome return/replace service we get our third faucet sent out! Worked great again for 3-4 days, and we were just about ready to raise the "mission accomplished" banner when the handle starts to leak again. This morning I woke up to a large puddle of water around the faucet. So, we've now been fooled 3x. Vigo is a garbage manufacturer, capitalizing on the good looks of its products while failing to deliver on the only thing a faucet needs to do - not leak. Waste of time - and waste of money - costing me plumbing costs now 3 x to install this faucet. So even though Amazon's service is great, the return policy amazing, who is going to compensate me for the hundreds of dollars in plumbing costs???

Absolutely stunning. Such agreat craftsmanship. When you take it in hands you feel it's an expensive unit.Easy to install/use. Size is about right. I have a small kitchen and this guy is about right size. Not too long, not too small.I believe this thing will last years and won't ever leak, but time will show:) Highly recommend !
