This is too cool and well worth the money. We are remodeling an RV and the dust would have clogged up a regular vac like this. Not this one it works GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!Addendum: Since I posted this review we have since then ripped out our old floors, replaced with hard wood and gutted a bathroom to the studs and replaced sub flooring. This project would have taken a lot longer were it not for this vacuum. We only had to empty it ONCE and blow out the filters. It was still working fine but I thought since we had to empty it anyway why not clean out the filters. This Vacuum is the best. (our house is 87 yrs old so there was a lot of stuff to vacuum up)

Unreliable, breaks and then you're spending $100s on parts
This vacuum works well when it operates, but I should've been skeptical about the one-year warranty. I am telling you now Be Skeptical! You're simply being set up to buy replacement parts from them. First problem a little over 1 year old, strange noise, took top off and discovered motor fan was hitting the motor cover during operation. I fixed the interference, then a year later, much louder strange noise. Took apart motor to discover motor commutator actually hitting the stator. Cdc larue wants $112 for a new motor and takes no responsibility even though the problem is clearly design issue.I was proud to buy a product made in the USA, but It's German tools from here on out. As an Engineer in the US I've seen first hand how poor designs make it to production because of short sighted management and I wouldn't be suprised if this was the issue. If you research CDC Larue's vacs on discussion forums you'll find many complaints. I'm not suprised they don't have a web presence, it would likely be filled with negative reviews

Great when it works
The media could not be loaded. It is a great vacuum when it works but it is always breaking the solenoids go out and it’s Expensive to replace I’m lucky if I get 2 months out of it before it needs to be repaired

Great Vac
I was a little skeptical about paying so much for a shop type vac. The minute I pulled it out of the box I knew I bought something of exceptional quality. it is extremely well made and all parts are heavy duty.I have used it to vacuum up fine dust such as plaster and sheetrock. It has great suction and does not clog.It blows back through the filters about every thirty seconds keeping them clean.There is absolutely no sign of dust coming through the exhaust it is just clean air. It is great for keeping a home dust free when remodeling. Comes with an exceptional hose but no accessories. I ordered an accessory kit from CDClarue nothing special there you can by generic accessories elsewhere for less. Awesome piece of equipment I never had a vac work this well. Definitely 5 stars
