Great device at a very reasonable price! I use this at home. I live in a rural area without wired broadband available to me. This adequately suits my needs! I travel part of the year and plan on taking it on road trips with me. The speed is quite fast especially for surfing the web, downloads are fast as well(I consistently get 15 to 35mbps download speeds) The only negative is that the Verizon prepaid service plan I have. There is no unlimited plan for data as of now....so I am stuck buying add on data bundles by 3gb a piece if I run out of high speed data. Well, overall I give it 4.5 stars. The device is pristine, but the service people at Verizon are not very helpful! If you do get the service setup it is very simple to do everything online. I would give it five stars if it weren't a Verizon device. Unfortunately, they are the best company for where I live as far as dependability of the signal. If you are looking for a dependable device with great coverage and a mobile one at that...this is what to buy.

Always skeptical of what you will get with pre-owned. This arrived in nearly new condition, I can't see a mark on it. Battery was at 12%, but charged up to 100% so battery seems strong as well, and same name as the Mifi Inseego, so it's an original. I was able to add this to my account after securing a new SIM nano card, and it was up and running within an hour. I have a couple of these in service, my college kids carry them with and when WiFi is insufficient to get their school work done, they deploy the MiFi. They've worked successfully off-shore during vacations and travel with aid of an external antenna. Great technology when you need a connection for your computer.

I have had 4 of these things over the years. They never really last me more than a couple of years. When they work, they work well... decent signal, good data throughput, and long battery life. But longevity is not good. Granted, I use mine all day, everyday for work. If you only use it occasionally for traveling, it should last a long time. Just remove the battery for storage.

Our original MiFi had fallen face first on the hard airport floor and cracked. As the months moved forward, the touch screen got increasingly worst. By the time I decided getting a replacement, the screen became unreadable and unusable. Trying to get the screen replaced would have cost more than the $30 I paid to replace the whole MiFi! It works well and after playing with for only a couple of hours, I'll update this post next week.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this in Feb and activated yesterday (in Aug) ahead of a trip. It worked great for about 8 hours but then it started acting up. First when powered off and then unplugged, it started to go through a cycle as if it was trying to start up as seen in the video. Second it will not start up when unplugged...you have to plug it in to boot up. I tried resetting to factory settings and now none of my machines can find the wifi to the Jetpack. Waste of money spent.Lesson learned: Don't buy this "renewed".

Works well. Easy set up. Half way through the day I do change it but other than that works well. I use it for work and it’s very convenient. Works with monthly or prepaid sign up with Verizon. I recommend purchasing the bundle which includes the jet pack, the case, and the sim card and then calling Verizon to set up your plan.
