The battery arrived a couple of days earlier than expected. However, after a week or so of use, it does not hold a charge for very long. My phone will die anywhere from 80-50% battery charge and without warning. The battery can go from fully charged, 100% to 75% with only 10-15 minutes of use while watching a youtube video. This battery does not perform much better than the original battery which it replaced, which was about 5 years old, (HTC One M8) and definitely does not perform like the original battery when it was new. My guess is that this is either a used battery that looks new, or a very cheap new battery. I would not buy again, but if your battery is completely dead and you just need a battery that will start your phone, this will work and doesn't cost much.

The battery itself appears to be good quality, and retains its charge well. The battery life appears to be good, however, the temperature sensor is fake or non functioning. The battery temperature always states 83 to 84 degrees Fahrenheit, regardless if the phone is icy cold or hot. This temperature sensor is used to regulate charging rates, and if it's not functioning, the battery may overheat.

I had the HTC oneS for many years and loved it. Eventually the charge port broke and I needed a new one. So after some research found the M8 version to be the best replacement. So, I was happy to find it and love the similarities. However, it has a long lag time so I've had to be very patient. I'll end up getting a new phone soon. Otherwise I still love the older HTC models. Maybe the HTC 5 version will work but so far the reviews do not look promising.

Battery life was great. It worked like the one the factory put in it.

It was good enough, but I guess after some time battery deteriorates. It didn't hold the charge as new phone battery will. Overall, good buy

After the long process of opening the phone, i got the battery changed and after putting it back together all i have is a flashing orange light, and an icon of a battery on the screen. Nothing more. have left it over night to charge and still no change. Starting to feel cheated!!!!!!
