Truly built to last! This chair was a gift when our first child was a toddler. Eight years and two kids later, they are finally outgrowing the chair, but it's still in perfect condition, so it will go to another family really soon. We've loved it so much we'll be sad to see it go! This is one of the best purchases ever made for our kids - a good value on a quality item worth every penny and more. Our 30lb dog even took to sleeping on it for awhile and the chair is no worse for the wear. :) Sometimes adults have sat in it with the kids and it is sturdy enough to handle that. It's so rare to be able to find a children's products of such high quality these days. We did put different fabric on the chair soon after buying it (grandma made a replacement zip-off slipcover from IKEA fabric using the original zip-off cover as a pattern), but we stuff it with the same foam and the foam has lasted all this time, too.

Super easy to put together. It was a great addition to our dramatic play area for our “cozy cottage”. 2 children easily can fit on this!

I got this toddler sized sofa to put in the family room for my almost-3-year-old and 15 month old. It is the PERFECT size for the two of them. They sit on it together and just look so happy and comfortable. They really, really love it. They love it so much that they always want to bring their snacks up on it and as a result the cover for the cushions (which are foam btw, i didn't realize this when i bought it and was slightly disappointed) gets dirty very quickly. The first time I decided to take it off and give it a wash I put it in a regular cycle and then tossed it in the dryer on medium heat. When it came out it had shrunk and the cushions no longer fit inside. I was VERY annoyed. At that point I read the care instructions and realized it says to line dry. Ooops. Frustrated, I emailed Guidecraft asking where/if I could buy a replacement cover. They responded promptly and told me that I can buy a replacement cover for $20, all I had to do was call and tell them that that's what I needed. The email went on to say that many customers reported that after re-washing you can fit the cushions back inside while the cover is still damp and the customer service person suggested that I try that before ordering a new cover. Well I gave that a try and it worked! The cover dried and now is more or less in the same condition as before. I was pleased and impressed by the help I received from their customer service. I also think $20 is pretty reasonable for replacing the cover if it ever comes to that. All in all I would definitely recommend this product.PROS: Your tots will LOVE this couch. Comfy, sturdy & durable frame, easy to assemble.CONS: The pic makes it look like a glider; it's NOT, it's a couch. The cushions are foam and a bit flimsy. The cover can't be put in the dryer, and the zippers on it are flimsy.

I purchased this for my kindergarten classroom. It worked perfectly. When Imretired, Impassed it on to anothervteacher. Excellent quality and value for the money !

The padding in the chair is substandard, the wood frame is great. There is no way to improve the seating (not enough room in the cover to add stuffing without splitting the zipper (tried it). I have replaced the couch with a bean bag which she loves and even I can sit in it! This one sits in her study/craft room and is full of stuffed toys.

Nice little seat for our toddlers. Easy for them to move around the room.
