I love this light modifier
I love this light modifier! I was hesitant at first due to a lack of information out there for the very slim number of options that exist for this type of modifier. Figured I'd take the leap, and I'm so glad I did! The build quality is excellent. The interlocking joints snap together with a nice, positive lock, the fabric disperses light so beautifully and doesn't bunch up into a mess due to its unique folding design, and the bowens mount is super strong. The overall design gives the impression that it is higher end than its price would lead you to believe. In actual use, this thing is very versatile. With the center reflector in place, the light quality it gives off is super controllable, and due to its size, you can vary the distance from any size subject to really control the softness and falloff, something you can't do so much with a smaller beauty dish. You can easily light a head to toe body shot softly. The center reflector can be removed, turning the modifier into an "octabox" of sorts for less power loss. It's large enough to place behind a 40"x60" scrim to easily replicate a window light, too. It comes with a translucent sock diffuser as well, for an even softer light. Take the center reflector off and ditch the sock for a punchy, harder light, or put them both on for super soft light, or anywhere in between. And at the end of the day, you fold it up, throw it in your car and never have to think again about annoying rods or on set modifier construction.Only 2 very small gripes: 1. The connection to my mount is slightly loose, but may be due to my mount and not this modifier, and, 2. an option for a grid would really be the cherry on top, but unfortunately, that isn't the case without making it work yourself. Definitely not enough to knock off stars as this thing really is a wonderful, portable, and quality piece of gear!

Incredibly Fragile
This product was great for the first couple days that I used it. It provided nice soft light, functionality with a Bowen's mount mono light and can be used with an adapter to use a speed light. The main reason I got the soft box was for its ability to fold and transported easily. That being said, it is much too fragile. Don't count on this soft box to hold up to any sort of wind or short fall. The fiberglass rods and plastic joints are highly fragile. For the price this shouldn't be as cheaply made as it is. I would sacrifice it's lightweight for more sturdiness. After a short fall to the ground, three joints and two support arms broke and now I am left with something I can't use.

I love this product
I love this product. In combination with my Neewer softbox I am a portable photography machine! I use both to capture stunning shots for my wedding clients. This is for larger groups of more than just the bride and groom and sometimes I use this for lighting up large areas. I didn't like that I can't fit a grid to this to control the light more but it is still an amazing piece of gear that I think would be awesome in anyones studio or mobile unit. I also used these for a few head shots with a white back drop. It actually is large enough to through enough light on the back drop for full white or medium grey depending on the settings on the camera.

My go-to modifier for field work
This has been my go-to modifier for field work, and believe me, I have a ton of soft boxes and parabolics of varied sizes. Depending on the subject and location, I pair this with either an S-Type Bracket Holder with Bowens Mount for a Speedlite Flash or an Interfit AC/DC monolight. VERY portable and light, I can typically fit this a monolight and battery pack in a larger daypack, minus the stand of course. My only caution with this product are the fiberglass poles. I was setting this up for a shoot and forgot to sandbag the stand. A little wind kicked up and whole thing fell face down. One of the poles snapped at the joint (everything still works, It's just a little bent on one end now, I'll probably super glue and tape the joint.) I would have preferred metal poles but then again it's $80! Just remember to sandbag all your stands before you start shooting!

It works very well. The only ting is you need to use the screen softness that comes with this to create a more even and soft light in the entire are of lighting.

Very Good Quality...
This Diffuser was built better than I expected. It just looks like it will last a long while. I definitely recommend this product I haven't used it quite yet but can't wait to use it. Also make sure you have a sturdy stand cause it has some weight on it.
