Fine line - easy flowing ink - easy to hold gel pen
The Uni-Ball Signo DX UM-151 Gel Ink Pen - 0.38 mm arrived today by Amazon Prime a few business days after ordering. Two pens arrived in one package and both wrote immediately with no shaking or priming needed. The line is very fine but easy to read. One person began drawing with the pen and found the black ink fluid and easy flowing without gaps or dragging. When used for writing, the ink flowed easily and smoothly. The ink is very dark and did not smudge or smear. This gel pen is far better than any pen purchased in a retail store or office supply store in person. I have used Uni-ball pens in the past, but non performed like the Uni-ball Signo DX UM-151 - 0.38 mm. If you are seeking a very fine line pen with solid dark ink, I highly recommend the Uni-ball Signo DX UM-151 Gel Ink Pen -0.38 mm. I have already given one ink pen away and plan to order more. If your workplace allows the purchase of the pen, I believe the others will notice the difference. I began experiementing with pens when joint pain in the hand became frustrating when using regular store-bought pens that required more pressure to force the ink to flow. The extra grip section was helpful to hold the pen without gripping too tightly. Hand and joint fatigue cause problems for young writers. If your child is allowed to use this pen at school, I recommend it for school. If you find that you like this pen, you may want to order more because if another fine line writer uses it, you may never the the pen again. I am still experimenting with different types of pens. I am impressed to the point, I may stop experimenting and make the Uni-ball Signo DX UM - 151 Gel Ink Pen - 38mm the primary pen for day-to-day use. I have tried cheaper pens which are okay short short uses or if pens are given away or permanently borrowed. For drawing find lines or long periods of writing, I recommend trying this pen. The only negative was that the cap snaps on tightly which means more strength is required to pull off the cap. Most people probably would not notice the difference, but because of joint pain, I do.

Excellent for Moleskine planners
I needed a pen that didn't bleed though the pages of my Moleskine planner. The pages are really thin, so it's hard to find a pen that doesn't bleed. I was using Muji pens, which I used to go pick up at my local store. Then they closed them forever! I wanted to order online, but it was going to cost me $25 for 10 pens, sheesh! Anyways, I found these pens and they work better than the Muji pens. The tip is really thin, almost like writing with a needle and ink. Ink does not bleed through pages. They are amazing, affordable pens. I have already bought a second set since I write almost daily. Ink does dry fast, but I don't think it would be fast enough for a left handed person (I'm right handed).

Amazing
The media could not be loaded. I like the pen writing nicely and don’t smudge at all is perfect for students or left hand person will not make mess or anything at all. I get my old pens I have to trash now.

Very good overall
This is a very good pen, but it isn't my first choice since I've got several gel pens with 0.3 or smaller tips to choose from. The Signo DX 0.38 writes smoothly, and glides with only the slightest hint of scratchiness over the paper, though not enough to be problematic. The line is consistent and there aren't any significant problems with skipping, jus a tiny amount of starting fade (it still writes, but doesn't reach full density until after a few strokes). The body is solid and comfortable, and it has a nice rubber grip. The cap posts with a snap instead of a friction fit, which is always nice to see. The point is a robust cone instead of a more fragile looking needle point.I usually list pros and cons in my reviews, but this pen's only con is really a personal preference - I like even finer lines than this one has. If the line width meets your preference, this pen is an excellent choice, and while others might equal it, I doubt any would surpass it by any great degree. I really need to try the Signo DX 0.28.

Seems good for lefties like me
I've avoided writing with pens (and pencils to a lesser extent) most of my life because of being left handed, opting instead for keyboards and more recently digital pens that just ignore your hand dragging over what you wrote. However, sometimes you DO need a pen, and I tried these after some research (seeing what people on reddit said) and so far so good. They feel very smooth to write with as well.

This is no mere pen!
Sit down and let me tell you a story about a pen that changed my life. These are no mere pens. These are writing tools sent straight down to earth like manna from heaven. The precision and smoothness with which the this pen writes is something to be marveled at. The ink does not bleed through the page even the slightest bit. For some unknown reason I occasionally like to write in very small letters, and at .38 mm the Uni-ball Signo DX UM-151 tickles the page with precision that the fatty Pilot G2 couldn't even dream about. I keep one of these bad boys with every notebook I own. I wouldn't call myself a pen snob, but I always get a little bit sad when I have to use a pen besides the Uni-ball Signo DX UM-151.Go buy one right now.Pros:Literally the best pen on earthCons:Other pens still exist and I occasionally have to use them

Thumbs Up!
I'm an unofficial collector of pens and always looking for 'the perfect' pen. When I use a pen, I look for one that maintains a steady flow of ink, writes consistently on surfaces, has a finer point, feels comfortable in the hand, and a professional appearance. I have been using the Uni-ball Signo for just over a week and it has become my 'go to pen.' The flow of ink is consistent though on writing surfaces that have a sheen type of coating, I notice the width of the ink line extends a little bit fuller -- almost like a fountain pen. I like the quality of ink as it is a solid and rich color (black). The tip of the pen is very sturdy and does not flex. I am enjoying the pen and even ordered the pack with multi colors which I will be using to color code my calendar and task list.
