Mexicali Rose Instant Mexican Homestyle Refried Beans 6oz - 7oz Pouch (Pack of 3) (Green Chile 7oz)

Hard to find these in stores anymore, and I just love them. They are such a better tasting product than the pasty, putty-like canned refried beans. The flavor is amazing, and you can adjust the texture by adding or subtracting water.

We had these with burritos and they are so yummy.

I have ordered these before and love the convenience and taste. Slightly disappointed this though to notice that the expiration date is only 6 months away.

These taste a bit better than canned refried beans, but not much better. Also, they are supposed to be green chili flavor. I didn't taste even a hint of green chili. I ended up adding my own hatch chilies. Definitely not good enough to justify paying 4x more than a can. When ordering, i imagined the dried beans would amount to more once water is added and they are cooked. It doesn't, one bag is basically equal to a can of beans.

I love the taste of these. They taste more fresh than the canned stuff. Also love preparing what I need instead of opening a can and throwing half of it away.
