Good case, but some odd characteristics
A decent case with a couple of design flaws that don't affect quality but do affect utility. The hinge is kind of stiff and the separate cover sections don't fold back as easily as Apple's own covers do. The magnet in the cover is quite strong and hard to pry off the matching surface of the iPad when you want to open it unless you have a long fingernail or something flat and stiff to pry with. There is also a strange behavior that I attribute to the magnet in which the unlocked iPad will shut down again as soon as the cover is folded across the back of the case. I have started keeping a finger between the open cover and the right (or top) edge of the cased iPad to keep the shutdown from occurring.Minor gripes, though, for something as inexpensive and sturdy as this. It will definitely protect any of the devices it is sized for from scuffs, scratches, and drop marks.

Not bad but I'm glad it wasn't expensive
This case is mostly worth the price if you don't have high expectations. It's actually a pretty good solution for the price, just be aware of the limitations. If the color had been right or the top button were accessible, I would have given it 4 stars. ***Edit: Increased to 4 stars b/c I figured out that if you get the case on just right, you can press the top button. There's no external button - just a thin spot in the case.****Pros:The case feels fine to me - plastic-ishSnug fit around my iPadFlip cover stays closed and in general it feels like the case will stay closedCons:Purple is not as blue as pictured - more of a red-purple***Edit: Actually there is access to the top button with this case - you just have to get the case on just right.***The flip cover is very stiff - it doesn't lie flat initially OR fold back as a stand easily - may get easier with use, but...The flip cover is hard to open - it sits such that it's difficult to catch the edge to open it (I have to catch it with a fingernail)Overall? Not bad for $15. I won't ordering another one, but I'll probably use it.

Case Fits iPad Mini Perfectly
First let me say that the iPad Mini case fits perfectly and protects my device as I would expect. I've only been using it for a few days; but it looks well made and I expect it to last a long time. The only problem - and I hesitate to use that word because it really isn't a problem - was after opening the case I noticed a citrus-type smell. It was a bit overpowering at first; but has dissipated after a few days of use. I actually received an email from the seller asking how I liked the case. I replied and asked them about the smell and they were very helpful in describing what caused the smell and told me I could return it for a refund if I wanted. I explained to them that it wasn't bad enough for a return and was thankful for their explanation. In case you have one and wondered about the smell - this is what the seller had to say, "We wanted to make our cases nice smelling, but used too much scented silica gel."Oftentimes when you ask a company about something like their product having a smell or whatever you either don't get a response or they just say they don't know. It was very refreshing to receive a straight answer and offer of a refund.Overall I recommend this case to owners of the iPad Mini and the customer service from TheONE-Store was great!

Great case for the price
I like this case. The magnetic cover allows for the auto on and off, which was a really important feature to me.When I put my iPad in the case, it just kind of slid in - there was so snap or anything to indicate that it was locked in place. However, it appears to be a tight enough fit that it's not going anywhere... I've dropped my iPad a couple of times in the case and it survived just fine. The first day or two after I received it, the case had a really intense smell like lemon scented cleaning products. At first I couldn't figure out why my hands smelled like I had been using pledge all day until I pulled my iPad out of my purse and made the connection. Fortunately the smell faded over time and was completely gone in less than a week. The case's folding stand works okay - it's not great but it works.Overall I would say this case is really good for the price but I wouldn't call it high quality.

I like it a lot, but read some reviews first.
As a whole I like this case. I have some pros and cons listed below. This is an honest review after unpacking it and using it for a day.Pros:full coverage of my iPad mini.LightweightSo far the quality of the build is greatCons:The smell from the package is terrible. It does seem to go away and maybe it's from the dye that they use but it smells like a urinal cake mixed with frootloops. The actual product is slightly different than what is shown in the pictures. For example, the picture doesn't show slotted spots for the volume buttons. But on the one I recieved its not covered like it was shown. Not a big deal to me but may be a deal breaker for some.Another note is that people complain that it's not made of leather. If people were to read the discription and actually read it they would see that this product is made with POLYURETHANE not genuine leather. So if you're looking for something like that you're looking in the wrong place.

This is my second case for the iPad mini. ...
This is my second case for the iPad mini. The first used plastic tabs around the edges, all of which broke across a few months of travel. This one seems to hold the iPad more securely, with a recess all around that grips the sides. At first I thought this might not be secure, but it seems to be much stronger than I expected. I have no worries that iPad will fall out. However the main issues I have are a few charging cables I use do not fit into the iPad with this case. The upper lip is too think and the cable grip too thick to allow charging in the case. One is a braided third party, but the Amazon cable I have also has issues. That's a bit of a pain as I must remove the device to charge it. I managed to press down on the iPad itself to get the Apple cable to work, but it's not ideal.
