Kikkerland Playing Cards

It took a bit to get used to this type of playing card, but once we did…we love the cards!

My brother received these as a gift in the early 2000’s. Thus began a war between us because I am a mean older sister, I would steal them anytime I could get my hands on them. Then he would steal them back. When I finally started a real job, I was able to buy my own. And now I buy them as a gift for folks - they’re great hostess gifts, especially for snowbirds because Florida is so humid - they can use these to play outdoors.

These cards are great, but the case isn’t really. It pops open easily and when I drop it into my bag the cards go everywhere.

I bought these to take backpacking since they are made of a laminate they are waterproof. Played Rummy with them and they performed well. Dropped a card accidentally in the snow and picked it right up, dried it off and good as new. They do stick together a bit as temps become colder or if they are a bit wet but it doesn't hurt the cards themselves.Buy these if you are looking for a fun, unique and durable solution to passing the time camping or backpacking.FYI, for those ultralight backpack/campers this card set is a bit heavier than a traditional set of playing cards but I think the durability makes up for that.Have FUN!

After raising three sons and finding out the positive results from teaching children all about counting..... I've decided to purchase these for three of my Grandchildren. Not only do they love games, they love animals... and these cards will bring them so much joy. We're no longer doing Easter Baskets, so we're assembling a few fun items that we know that they'll love. The two boys are receiving the 3-D Doggie Playing Cards, and my Grand-daughter is receiving the 3-D Cats Playing Cards. Can't wait to see their little faces on Easter. I have found that teaching children games such as: card playing, Yahtzee, & Sorry has helped expand the thinking process and it's fun! So, don't hesitate to offer "Card-Playing" to your children and grandchildren.

This deck was purchased to keep children entertained at the pool between swim practices. These cards were great! They have been through an entire outdoor swim season and look as good as the day the arrived in the mail. The numbers are easy to read and the suites are easy to distinguish. The card case is compact and durable. We have taken these cards camping too. They have been washed with a damp cloth and the printing did not rub off. We are really pleased with this purchase.

I bought these cards for my daughter as she has anxiety and likes to play cards. She also has hyper hydrosis so always has wet/ moist hands. I gave only 3 stars as 3 of clubs is missing? Can't play cards if any card is missing ??

It's nice to see a truly unique design for the humble playing card, and this one has a modern twist while still retaining all the functionality of your average deck of cards. Indeed, you actually get better functionality, since these are waterproof!The cards themselves are a rather thin plastic - perhaps even thinner than the usual cardboard material, they are slightly opaque rather than entirely see-through. You get a plastic carrying case which is also better than the usual cardboard pack.Overall, if you want an unusual deck of cards that's also likely to survive in the great outdoors, then this fits the bill perfectly.

Rubbish quality, smaller size cards very slippery to hold never mind mix !I had these cards years ago from a well known retailer, I thought they where the same so I bought 2 packets. But no I’m gutted and going on holiday tomorrow so my wee surprise is no more !Live and learn.
