Let me start this review by saying that I'm a short, fat guy. I have a really hard time finding holsters that fit, are comfortable, and don't make my pants fall down. I've tried various IWB and OWB holsters, as well as different gun belts, and even a couple of shoulder holsters. None of them are ever comfortable and reliable. I usually wind up going back to a .380 in a pocket holster for lack of a better option.I decided to give this rig a try, because the design seemed different, and it fits my K Frame revolvers. When the holster arrived, I tried it on, made a couple of small adjustments, and it fit just perfectly. It's comfortable, holds my revolver securely, and in a position wher I can get to it. I tend to wear the holster so that my gun is jusst slightly below my left armpit, rather than in the middle of my chest, but both positions work well.The leather work seems to be of very high quality, and all three of my S&W K-Frame revolvers fit snugly without any adjustment. The hammer thong slides on and off easily, and holds the revolver securely.All in all, this is the most comfortable holster that I've owned or worn.

This is a top quality made holster. It will last years, fits great and I will be able to reach my gun while laying on my back as momma bears stands over me getting ready to take a bite.

It’s the best rig I’ve found for my .44 Magnum. Easy to adjust. I like the chest mount. It’s also easy to mount a light to the front strap for when I walk from my office to my car at midnight. The front design tells anyone with evil intentions that you are not the soft target. Great quality. And I almost forget I’m wearing it. Nobody else does. I was breaking it in in the workshop where it’s 120°F, when one of my guys walked in and saw it on me with my Smith & Wesson. “Worried about something?” He asked. “Not a damn thing.” I replied.

Bought "Used - Very Good" condition from Amazon for a great price - and because it was returnable, I took a chance and glad I did. When I got the holster and tried it on, I discovered that the right waist strap was improperly connected to the male clasp 'trident' end. This clasp as is could be cinch-up tight, but once adjusted would loosen upon movement. (Maybe the very reason it was returned in the first place?) After correcting this and a little leather conditioner I was very pleased with my purchase.Workmanship is top-notch. I should also mention that the holster is nicely leather lined. A small brand logo is stamped on the back side in several places, containing the state name where made: "Alaska". But conspicuously absent is the country "U.S.A."(?). My .357 Ruger Vaquero (old model) fits well in this holster, although I do plan to use it to carry my S&W 686.

I've used shoulder holsters for 40 years as a law enforcement officer and in the military and still have an original shoulder rig that I purchased from Galco when it was the Jack*** Leather Company in Glenview, IL. I've worn vertical shoulder holsters from Safariland and Bianchi, and tanker style holsters from any number of US government contractors. This simply the most comfortable chest/shoulder holster I've ever used.I only had to make two minor adjustments for the holster to fit perfectly right out of the plastic bag; I adjusted the hammer thong and loosened the tension screw. My L-frame S&W fits snuggly but not too tight, and the hammer thong ensures retention, but can be easily released with the attached leather tab.All of the straps were perfectly adjusted (I'm 5'11", 195 #, 44 chest) To add a speedloader carrier, it took about 2 minutes to remove 2 screws, slide on the carrier, and replace the 2 screws.I used rubber bands to secure the excess right side tension strap as I didn't want to cut the nylon. I adjusted the strap while wearing a T shirt, so I needed to keep some extra to be able to adjust the size over heavier clothing.While this is not really a concealed carry holster, it could be used in that manner under a heavy/bulky coat. However, it really shines by keeping the gun secure and instantly available, but out of the way. It doesn't flop around like other shoulder rigs nor require tie-downs. It does a great job of distributing the weight and won't pull your trousers down as a heavy belt holster will. I haven't had any problem driving a UTV or tractor while wearing it, although I haven't found the need to driven a car or truck with it on.The price was less than comparable shoulder systems and shipping was fast.

Very well made with plenty of fine adjustments if needed. I wear a S&W model 29 44 mag 6" bbl. perfect fit & great range of motion. You can wear it on your chest or move it to the side as a shoulder rig. Absolute best way to wear a firearm with 100% accessibility.
