Chest Holster

First off, this is a very nice well crafted holster that is affordable. I did call the folks up at Diamond D and asked a few questions before purchase. One was if the holster was lined. The answer was yes. I guess it is lined meaning that the interior is finished smooth and tanned like the exterior. Not just the back side of leather, like some work belts are. I'm an old timer and expected that lined meant swead lined like some of the Bianchi duty paddle holsters I wore in the old days while on the job. That being said, I like the fact that its finished smooth and double stitched and molded exactly like my Glock 20sf. The base is open to allow for my 6" lone wolf barrel. It comes with a nice leather snap retainer that goes under the beavertail to keep holster in. That makes it much more secure than the type that have the thumb break type that go behind the slide, (those are useless). Also it should be noted that this rig is not over built like , say, a cowboy rig with the extra heavy duty belt and holster style. Its thick enough to give you flexability and is robust enough for the purpose. That makes it affordable, any more thicknesses and it would be too bulky and too expensive. The use of Chicago screws allows you to adjust or add leather to the harness should you be a Bit big in the chest area, but you shoulded as there is enough leather strap to handle that. I am a big chested guy and I find its plenty for me to adjust. This is a very good buy for the money. anything more heavy duty would be too much bulk and too much money. Excellent job folks! Should I purchase a wheel gun I'll purchase another one of these any time.

I have two of these and they are great! I use my Glock holster almost everyday! Very comfortable and extremely well made! Going to get another one for my Desert Eagle!

Excellent quality. Gun holster fit was precise, but will need a break in period as with all leather holsters. The adjustable strap created a perfect fit for the desired carry location. I would like to have seen something to take up the excess strap after adjustment rather than having to cut it off and re-sew a seam.

Amazing!! Can’t recommend enough!!

This is a VERY well made holster. However a few aspects of the application leave something to be desired. I wore this for several days with my loaded G20SF. The gun fits it like a glove and the overall quality is top notch. The problems I had were related to the lack of vertical adjustment in the rig. I'm 5'9" about 155 and the holster seems to sit more on my stomach than my chest. While crossing fences or bending down it definitely gets in the way, ends up in the crotch area. My thoughts are if it could be made tighter both on the vertical and horizontal axis that may alleviate the dangling. Currently it's only adjustable horizontally across the chest. It may just not work as well for smaller frames. Also bringing it up further would interfere with a bino harness so there are some trade offs. For sitting in your ATV/vehicle/tree stand it would be perfect. Not so much for activities. In this respect I think a good thigh holster may be superior if it can adequately protect the weapon. Overall great just didn't work that well for me.

Looked hard at a holster for my Glock when hunting. This was a great product. Quality leather and adjustable to me and how I want to wear it. Well worth the price

Excellent holster and amazing craftmanship. Great to carry your pistol on you while hiking, hunting, or under a coat. This holster is totally worth every penny spent.

Doggoned fine way to carry a large handgun. Good for riding ATVs, wading to fish and generally just walking. Close to the body and well-balanced. The holster and straps are made of first class leather and are comfortable. They are fully adjustable, I saw where someone said they were not. Just takes a Phillips screwdriver and five minutes. This rig keeps the handgun accessible and yet out of the way of moving arms and turning torso. Order with confidence.
