It has a good looking shiny black finish and its very sturdy
It has a good looking shiny black finish and its very sturdy. It didn't come with instructions, but easy to figure out. the locking clips can be annoying, as they can fall as you try to place the shelfs on them, I had trouble putting on the first two shelves, but no problem with the last two, so its just getting the hang of putting the shelf on without knocking the clips off, ones the shelf is on, its staying on, very strong hold.

Good basic wire shelving
I've been getting the basement organized and used these for bins full of sporting gear. They are basically the same thing as the wire racks from many other brands, including the own brand ones from HD (that I've got several of).It is a bit fiddly to get them together without the plastic brackets in a corner-or-two slipping down, but once you get the shelves in, they are solid.

Shelf clips are very weak, barely hold the weight of a shelf alone.
I've probably assembled dozens of similar wire shelving units, but these are by far the poorest quality I've seen. First, though the images of the item show numbers engraved on the bars to easily set shelf height, there are none to be found. Second, all 3 units I ordered as well as 6 additional shelves came in boxes that were shredded and falling apart (see pic), and with only a couple zip ties securing the 8 support bars to the shelves, most had broken loose inside the box and were rattling around. The UPS driver was the hero, picking up all the loose parts he could find on the floor of his truck and putting them back in the boxes. Pro tip Nexel, use double or triple wall cardboard and use strapping around the length and breadth of your boxes. Third, as shown in the 2nd pic, the shelf clips are molded from a substance that is, as near as I can tell, the consistency and hardness of cheese. You can dent the plastic with your thumbnail easily. No way will they hold a quarter of the 600lb per shelf rating as they are intended to. I'm a mechanical engineer by trade, and am extremely careful with assemblies like these, making sure the ribs in the clips engage fully in the grooves in the bars, but even gently pressing the shelf down while supporting the clips, the shelves slipped down as soon as any weight was put on them, instantly shearing the ribs inside. Of the first 8 clips I installed, half have failed. Oh, and just to be clear about what model shelf I'm reviewing, since Amazon aggregates reviews for multiple products, I bought the "Economy Wire Shelving Starter Unit, 4 Tier, Nickel Chrome, 24"W, x 48"L, x 74"H". Lesson learned, buy Metro or a reputable brand. Oh, I almost forgot, most of the cheesy little Nexel plastic logos fell out of the many holes in the substandard packaging. Nexel, don't worry about replacing those.

Good shelving for light weight storage
Nice looking and all parts were in box. Not for heavy weight storage but good for storing suitcases or Christmas decorations.

Really difficult to assemble, arrived scuffed but otherwise sturdy
This thing is impossible to assemble. There are these round bolts that need to be hammered into the posts, and they are insanely difficult to pound in. They really need to arrive factory installed. I was banging them on the ground to get them in as hammers were no good and I was afraid I'd injure myself. They were also mailed with very minimal packing, so a lot of the paint was scratched off. I had ordered the black shelves to resist rusting and not sure how much good it'll be with said paint scratched. Otherwise very sturdy and great product. Just really hard to put together and arrives scuffed.
