Great parts but make sure it matches your guitar
This is a high quality set of parts. HOWEVER, this WAS NOT A DIRECT FIT for my Epiphone SG G-400. I read ahead of time that I would have to enlarge the Jack and Pot holes, which was fine, but the threaded barrel of the Pickup Switch was too short (about 1/4" compared to 1/2" stock). I had to desolder the switch and resolder in my original part, and ultimately everything works. It should have been more clear in the product description.

Ehh they were ok
It works well in my SG build. But it's not something I would buy again.

Repaired my guitar
I installed this kit in my Epiphone SG to repair a non functioning pot. I had to slightly enlarge the 4 volume/tone knob holes because the new pot threads were wider and remove the round black plastic switch plate because the threads for the new switch were shorter. After those 2 mods the new harness dropped in perfectly.I only had to solder 3 wires and figured it out after studying the on line wiring diagram. The pots and capacitors not only appear to be of higher quality, the guitar also sounds better than it ever has before. I can definitely hear a difference. My guitar is seems like it has more sound and clarity.Anybody with an Epiphone should have this product on their wish list.

Quality Components, Wired Wrong and wrong wiring instructions!
This wiring harness is made with quality parts it just needed a little fixing before installation. The wires going to the pickup switch were soldered to the outside lug and were supposed to be on the middle lug. None of the lugs that were supposed to be grounded were. The instructions that come with the harness show incorrect wiring. The hot pickup wire should go to the outside lug and it shows it going to the middle. I emailed 920D and told them of these mistakes and was just told "Thanks, they would look into it." That was at the end of august and they still have the incorrect instructions on their website.

Fantastic product!
This is an extremely well made kit. The solder joints are perfect, vintage cloth wire, all switchcraft and CTS parts, etc. The layout fell right into place in my SG with no issue and worked perfectly, very satisfied with this set up. Much happier with this than the cheap circuit board that Gibson installs these days.

I'm not sure if the tone caps are garbage or if it's the way the wiring was done
• The pots that arrived are different than the pots pictured (shaft through back in reality, closed back in the pictures).• Bridge tone pot has a spot that is specifically rough feeling when turning the knob (around 1-3), I used DoexIt D5 which you should never have to do on a new pot and it wasn't fixed, so I can only assume there's an imperfection in the pot beyond dirt/grime.• Neck volume knob shaft moves up and down in place/has a sort of bounce to it. Doesn't seem to effect it working but definitely feels very cheap.• Tone knobs literally do nothing and I'd be willing to post video to prove that. I'm not sure if the tone caps are garbage or if it's the way the wiring was done.• Every shaft is too short, this is "made for SG drop in placement" had to remove the "Rhythm Treble" plate and washer for the switch to fit (spent an additional $7 for a deep nut for this) was this put together with 0 for-site? No washers on any of the pots or input because if both didn't come with them and pot shafts don't have enough height anyways.• I was very excited about this pre wired set up–obviously it's cheaper than the StewMac Golden Age SG wiring harness because they cut every possible corner to get cheap versions of high end parts.• I bought this to replace the Alpha pots in my Epiphone SG project guitar and I think it's possibly worse than the Alpha stock wiring.• You can buy every piece in this kit for $54 on Amazon or buy StewMac Golden Age harness for $75–wire it up yourself and I'm confident the outcome will be less of a let down.

All the components look like very good quality
All the components look like very good quality, and all was soldered properly. That’s the good news. The bad news is that the shafts of the switch and the plug were too short. I have an SG standard, and the shaft of the switch was a good 1/4” too short. That means I had to disconnect the brand new switch and install my old switch for the time being. That’s 20% of this product that was unusable! The shaft of the plug was only 1/8” too short, so it was usable but I couldn’t put a washer under the nut. Bottom line is that there must be some consistency problems with their parts since other buyers didn’t have this issue. I will now have to buy a new switch (my old one is getting....old, which is part of why I bought this item). I’m super disappointed and would return the whole thing but I need my guitar working this weekend. Buyer beware!
