No instruction comes with the Jig. Here is how to apply it...
The HOLE in the Jig is unnoticeably slightly tapered such that the Boring Bit must be placed on a surface and only then will the Jig will slip right over the Bit.Next, slide that combo to where a hole is needed.Tap the boring bit to Mark where a hole is needed, remove the Jig, and begin boring.

Not for amateurs
I have lots of years if experience in wood working and thought this would be handy jig. It took me a few mins to get this to work. I highly very strongly you use this as a template only. If you try to drill holes or use a forster bit you will break this quickly. Having said that I used tape on my drill bit for the screws only and flush with the forster bit. Any deeper on most cabinet doors and you will go thru. It's pretty accurate for an door relief 1/2 to an inch after that you may have to make adjustments

Good value for the money
This jig fits the bill if you just have a few hinges to install. Sixteen hinges were installed in short order with dead-on accuracy. The only thing that needed to be done to make the jig easier to use was to add washers to the screws on the jig for a more positive alignment. There are no instructions because you use the instructions supplied with the hinges. It's all self explanatory.

LOVE IT! KEEPS ME OUT OF TROUBLE
Using a hand drill to install soft close hinges can be a little tricky. This little jig keeps me where I need to be.

No instructions or even dimensions that indicate what the jig is sized for . Poor product !!
