Crocodile 2: Death Swamp [DVD]

considering how horrible Spiders (2000) is this is a step up. And has a lot better quality of the effects. The acting is stale but who cares, it's a killer crocodile flick. It's not a direct sequel to the first but it is worth watching if you like nu image low budget creature features. The story line isn't the best but it's not the worst. And the CGI is a step up from the first film. It's one of those so bad so good. I would recommend it to any monster fans.

I have been looking for this movie on DVD for the last 6 years along with crocodile 1and now I have both of them thank you so very much now I can watch them both in my room without having to go downstairs and asking my dad how to use his tv and DVD player and bother him and I can watch them when I want to which makes a big difference in my house. thank you so much amazon

I really wanted to like this movie. Unfortunately, they lost me on the plane ride. This was a 2002 movie but even then, I don't believe heavily armed men could board a plane without passing through some safeguards first. The bank robbery was silly enough, the plane sequence beyond stupid (who's going to have a shootout in a cockpit!?). No surprise, the plane crashes and manages to kill almost everyone on board, leaving just enough people to carry the bad guy's luggage. The tough talking bad guys waste a lot of ammo on the first crocodile and must have had a never ending supply because I don't recall seeing them reload at any point in their rampage. Then the second crocodile, having eaten the plane's flight recorder, followed this merry band of wanderers like the tick-tocking croc from Peter Pan. How dumb is that! Having Martin Kove show up to add a little comic relief was sad and desperate; too little way too late. Complicating things with an attempted rape didn't help matters. Overwrought on every level, it's not something I'd care to watch again: not a keeper.

This is a different croc movie. You get to see bad guys stealing money from the bank, then there's a plane crash, and some croc action. What else is there. Great Croc Film.

Crocodile 2 is almost as much fun as the first one. The CGI effects are ok, and some of the crocodile deaths were done well (the death roll). The plot was a little bit silly and the bad guys were such WANNABES! Who else wanted to go into the screen and beat them over the head?! They were so annoying! f this and f that. The movie was pretty good, but it would have been alot better, had the bad guys been killed alot earlier. (like that bad guys just got them to the swamp, were eaten and then the people were left to survive on their own.) If you liked the first one, then you will probobly like this one. The gore was okay, and the acting was very good on the part of the flight assistant. Wortha rental. A pretty good croc flick. A plane load of people from a hijacked airplane crash in the jungle and it goes on from there. Lots of action with at least a couple of big explosions, plenty of shooting uselessly at a giant crocodile (don't these characters in movies know by now that bullets have no affect on giant creatures?), several really gruesome scenes of victims getting chewed up as appetizers by Old Croc, one scene with the prerequisite pulling a helicopter from the sky (every such movie has at least one nowadays), and even a couple of bonus scenes with victims snatched from buildings (one scene in particular had me laughing because the guy practically asked for it). Between the ruthless and totally insane hijackers, and the mostly helpless airplane passengers (one of the flight attendants was just as nuts as the hijackers and was so annoying, I was hoping she'd be killed off before the plane was even hijacked), the storyline was mostly well done and kept my interest until the very end.
