Favorite new fillet knife
Great fillet knife, it is thin enough to be flexible but not too thin where it’s cheap and flimsy. Sharp and ready to use! Made in the USA is great too!

You get what you pay for...Buck Knives are my choice
Exceeds my expectations. Buck Knives are top notch, this one is no exception. Some reviews discussed removing the knife from the sheath: the knife i received did not have any issues. The knife was secure and removable with minimal effort.

We call this the Samerai sword on our Canadian fishing trip. This thing is a monster. For basic fresh water fish it is a little overkill. Easy to forget about the additional sharpened edges and can easily cut yourself.

Best Filet knife
My bf and I have two buck filet knives, they are both amazing, sharpen like a charm and filet A LOT of fish (Catfish\Blues, Puppy Drum, etc.) Love this brand!!

This knife is sweet but be careful if you are not used to a double edge knife.I know I wasn't and got bit several times before making some adjustments.

Use it for skinning fillets only. Long blade too flexible for removing fillets from body. I use a sturdier Buck fillet knife with a shorter blade for that, but this one skins perfectly and that's what I bought it for.
