Impressed. Better then Maybelline Master Kajal
I have been using, and enjoying, Maybelline Master Kajal for many years, but I think I actually like this product better. It seems that cone-shaped kajals produce a "love it or hate it" reaction for makeup users, but I am in the "love it" category. The key is to hold it sideways, and it is mainly good for the lower eyelid rim, and is quick and easy after some practice. I would use a smaller pencil separately to get the top lid or to make a "wing" is that is what you're going for. This kajal by Lotus Herbals, compared to the Maybelline one, has a couple of benefits. It screws down into a lipstick tube, giving it a smaller profile. It is a bit denser or harder. It does not lay down color as heavily, but you can go over it extra times to get the desired intensity. When using in the inner rim, I guess some call it the "waterline," it has a cooling effect. While it does smudge somewhat, I actually like that effect, and it smudges less than its Maybelline competitor. As it melts it tends to collect right at the eyelashes, at least for me, which is right where it looks good, and it lasts all day and sometime into the next day after sleeping if I neglect to wipe it off (guilty as charged). It is also inexpensive. Some cons to this product is the tiny little lid that covers the business end of the tube. It is hard to put back on, I am afraid I will destroy the kajal tip. It is also difficult to apply as an upper eyelid liner above the eyelashes. It can be done, it's just hard to maneuver and it will definitely smudge if you try to make a "wing" with it. I find that when using mascara, doing the top lid is overkill anyway so it's not a problem for my personal makeup style.

Not sure if there was supposed to be two or one, but otherwise great Kajal!!
I'm not sure if you were supposed to get two pieces or one, since I didnt find out till I looked at the reviews, but I also have been using Kajal eyeliner for a while and this is about the standard price for one $6-8 so....But if you were supposed to get two I would suggest putting it in the title. Otherwise, it's really nice, standard kajal. I have sensitive eyes and overall have been going more natural with my makeup. And I love the look of Kajal as well. P.S. a lot of people are upset its runny, it's supposed to run a little bit, Kajal is natural and doesn't have all these chemicals in it to make it stay.

Doesn't stay for very long
First, it took nearly 4 weeks for this tube to be delivered. It fades fast so you'll have to reapply it often. It also smudges (on me, below my eyes so I looked like I was sick or had been hit in the eye). I had a hard time getting it to go on too, although maybe you're supposed to warm it up a little to soften up the crayon but there's no advice to do that. I wouldn't buy it again and probably won't use it at all.

Trying it. Need a better environment (air quality) to fully test it.
Years ago, in 1984, San Mateo, California I shopped at a Health food store owned by a man from India. He sold me a black Kajal that was 100% natural. Made the eyes, skin feel moist, oily. Stayed on but would smudge if touch it; but that is good. The hard type that don't come off easy usually has unhealthy ingredients. This type was perfect. For years I cannot fine this true Kajal. This product I got on Amazon this month doe not feel like the old true type. maybe its real. I probably will try it again after I move away form the airport, neighbors that smoke. That air sometimes irritates the eyes. Will use the kajal again when in a better environment. And also keep search for the old type from California (India) that was 100% real; It cam in a small red jar. Use a brush to put it on. It was like a thick oily black paste. This one from Amazon might be it. Texture is similar.

exotic
I like the exotic mystery of kajal. This goes on easily and smoothly. I use it mostly in the waterline and it creates a dramatic smoldery eye. But it can smear a lot after not too long a time like most kajal. Someone suggested brushing a setting powder under the eye right in lash line to help prevent it. I will have to try that when I find something suitable. Kajal is generally soothing to the eyes and is actually created more as a treatment than a cosmetic. It does feel good and does refresh and sooth the eyes. In central asian cultures you will often see they use kajal on babies eyes. kajal has an intriguing, earthy, herbal smell that I like.

Nice Kajal
This is a nice kajal, good quality, and the composition shows only natural ingredients. It does not stay all day but this is normal for a natural kajal. No eye irritation and nice packaging

Amazing!!
Love this eyeliner! I’m allergic to nearly everything and this is the first eyeliner I’ve been able to use on my waterline.

I absolutely hate this eyeliner
I absolutely hate this eyeliner. I live in California and it's quite hot and this eyeliner is down my face within minutes. It goes on fine but it literally last for like 15 minutes. I was going to return the item but I'm too lazy. I've had kajal eyeliner before that stay put, I'm so disappointed in this one

Go Easy on the Application
A dark Kajal and glides on easily. Not irritating if applied under the lower lashes or on the lower water line. Go easy on the application as it's pretty dark and if applied a bit too heavily, it makes a dramatic statement. Great for using as an eyeliner for rocking a 'smoky eye' as it can be smudged with ease with either one's fingertips or with a Q-tip.

Clean, easy removal.
It's good and natural. I purchased this for kala tikka for my new born.I wouldn't really recommend for an eyeliner as it is not smudge proof and it melts on the skin. It's good for tikka.

My favourite eyeliner!
Love that this goes on smoothly and doesnt irritate my eyes. Stays on all day but is also easy to remove unlike other brands. I use it in my waterline and its amazing. Have used in the past and will continue to use in the future.

Good Quality Cruelty Free
Dark and easy to apply as its smoother than some other kajal's in market. I like Lotus products and they are herbal and cruelty free. Would buy it again.
