These boots was a great fit..True to size and comfortable.

Received on time. No green stuff as reported by other reviews, no smell. I wear 8.5 but went up a half size and couldn't be more pleased! Definitely head turners! I felt likenthe Belle of the western ball in these! If you have wide feet, flat arches or larger calves, this boot may not be for you. Although they are comfortable for me, any more narrow in the foot or calf and I wouldn't have been able to wear them. I have this problem with a lot of boots but not these and not by much. I didn't have to break them in or soften them up before wearing. I attribute that to the extra half size. I plan to order them in black but perhaps directly from Dan Post so as to avoid any possibility that I will encounter any problems like with some of the other reviews. These cost a cute coin and they're worth each and every one of them but to be safe I'll get directly from Dan Post. These brown ones aren't available any longer there but there are others and they definitely have a new life long customer

Ordered these as a “from me to me” Christmas gift. Please note they are beautiful boots but SO heavy! I also noticed they are narrow for an average width foot. Lastly, the sole is very slick. I’ve had other shoes with the same issue and do realize with wear they would scuff a bit but rather dangerous until then. Unfortunately, they are going back. 🤷‍♀️ Thought this would be helpful....wish I’d seen some comments like this when considering buying $200 boots!

The media could not be loaded.  This item was purchased to come brand new. To our dismay (daughter’s surprise birthday gift) the surprise was on us. There was no tow box, width or arch support. She could not her her foot in the boot. There was absolutely rotten/molded disgusting leather, instead.

These boots are beautiful!! Stunning actually & very well made. I was looking for a black distressed boot and these for the ticket. They are a taller boot so beware. I'm 5'9 and I have long legs and they covered a little more than half my knee but not the whole thing. I bought these for pictures in Montana!!!

These boots are a show stopper! I recently bought them for my trip to Nashville and I received so many compliments on them! They were super tight when I first tried them on so you definitely have to stretch them out. I ran a hair dryer on high heat on the inside and then wore really thick socks and walked around the house all day and it really did the trick! I didn’t end up with any blisters or sore feet! Definitely great quality and I’m so glad I bought them!

The smell of fine, high-quality leather was noticed right as soon as I opened up the box. Trying them on was pure joy – as these boots fit like a glove and the zipper on the interior is so smart. I could wear these all day and dressing them up or down (hello jeans/leggings/tights!) is a breeze. Definitely the perfect boot for ladies with smaller to medium legs. I'm assuming they stretch out slightly for those with more athletic calves. Wish these were available in multiple colors, besides black and brown. Love Dan Post!

Beautiful boots! My first real pair of 'cowboy' boots. Was apprehensive about the fit as I have a rather wide foot and high arch. Due to many years of wearing non supportive shoes on non foot friendly surfaces, I need extra support due to plantar fasciitis. I automatically add insoles to any new pair of shoes. I'm not really sure I would have needed them in these boots. However, even with people suggesting to order a half size smaller I kept with my usual size to be able to accommodate the added insoles. Even with a type of shoe that one would assume was narrow and tight in the toe, these are not. I wore them to a function that I was on my feet, mostly standing, for 6 hours straight. These boots rocked it. No soreness or discomfort at all. I will buy more Dan Post boots in the future. I highly recommend them. If you don't need heavier socks or added insoles, definitely go down a half size. And, they are gorgeous. Better than the photos!
