This is the best invention for tamale making ever! This spreader saves me soooo much time.

The media could not be loaded. These are awesome. Easy to use. A must buy item! I have been making tamales for years the old fashioned way, with back of spoon. Now, with arthritis setting in, these are a life saver + time saver. You will never use a spoon again. Only took me about 5 tries before I got my desired thickness. Put a big blob of masa on table then use spreader to scoop masa up to spread. I made 120 tamales... Saved me at least 1 hour. As when using spoon, had to take several breaks from cramping hands. I feel they are a bit over priced for a piece of plastic... But work as promised!

Saw this on the internet and decided to try it. It is so easy to use. I'm glad I bought it.

I ordered a 2-pack in red of these masa spreaders and it cut the time down considerably and made that portion of making tamales actually fun. My masa seemed a little on the dry side and spreading was not as smooth as some of the videos I watched prior to ordering BUT adding a little more broth to the masa resolved that. I was so pleased with these that I sent my granddaughter the other one. I know she will appreciate it as much I do.

Still prefer to spread with a small silicone spatula. Didn’t really save time or make things easier. I guess old school rules.

I bought this spreader to help make the tamale making easier but I guess I’m just too used to doing the old way , like my mother use to spread the masa . So it didn’t work for me thank you . Gave it a good try
