Comfortable but bulky
I wouldn't recommend this holster for anyone unless they wear bell-bottoms. Because of the hard shell, the holster and weapon are pushed out away from the leg and it produces an obvious bulge. Also, the angle at which the weapon ends up at puts the weight of the weapon too far out away from the leg so you end up with a swinging motion with every step. Basically, this holster doesn't allow the weapon to hug your leg very close. I'm going with a soft holster next.

Not a great angle on the holster
Unfortunately because of the angle the holster is mounted, unless you are wearing large and very loose pants or jeans, this will not fit under. The quality is second to none. Just needs some refining on the design.

Very comfortable and tough holster
This is my first holster of any kind. I just bought my first handgun, a Bersa Thunder .380. The Fobus ankle holster fits it perfectly and feels very secure. The box included break-in instructions for the holster and I followed them. I was surprised at how comfortable it was from the get go. After wearing it for a few days it seems to have molded to my leg and still feels like I'm just wearing a rather heavy sock. The inner lining material feels like suede and is soft and breathable. The outer material is a very tough nylon and looks like it will hold up. I'll add a follow up to this review in a few months after I get a chance to wear it more.I walk a lot. I walk to and from work, ride a bus, and go up and down many stairs and hills. The holster feels very secure and does not chafe or move around. I hope the velcro strap that holds the holster on the ankle can hold up to wear and tear. Time will tell.Drawing the pistol from the holster seems reasonably smooth. Fobus calls it "passive retention". It has to be a tight enough fit to hold the pistol secure while being pounded on the pavement. Yet it still has to give when you draw. It's a bit grabby, but I think it's a good compromise. I doubt that I'm going to get into a "high-noon" situation any time soon. The Fobus Ankle Holster is good looking, comfortable, and rugged.

Consider other options first
I bought this product and immediately felt the same as an earlier purchaser who posted a review (Shawn Wilson: Comfortable but bulky, August 20, 2013). Unfortunately since there were more favorable reviews than unfavorable I purchased this item. I am returning it to Amazon. I need a soft holster like I have for my waist.

Too bulky
This was just a bit too bulky to conceal. It was comfortable but it just didn't work for me. Maybe it was the angle or maybe I just don't wear the right pants for this.

Great concealed holster.
Bought this for the wife through amazon well over a year ago. She still wears it religiously. Only problem found was the plastic holster itself begins to form around the gun and gets loose over time. I fixed the problem by replacing one of the retaining screws, with a larger one, at the rear of the holster, just above where the trigger guard sits.

To bulky to actually use
Seems to be well made... That's where the positive ends because it's entirely to bulky to ever actually use. Will be returning immediately
