Work great
These work great for holding braids; The positive & negative is that they stretch easily -- great for one-time use, but they're not very reliable to use twice. Although it feels wasteful, I prefer these over more rigid bands which can be difficult to stretch over fingers to get on the hair in the first place. The size of these is good for tying off a braid of all hair, or maybe pigtails... smaller braids, you would probably need to twist it too much.

Handy, cheap, quality and bountiful!
Great price for a zillion of these handy hairties. There is a hairtie eater in our home (hopefully not one of the kids / dogs;)) along with the typical sock and bobby pin eater. As a result, I kept running out of these and my daughter's fluffy blonde 2 year old hair was always hanging in her eyes (will her bangs EVER GROW IN!?). Enter 4 packs of these to save the day. I keep a bag in our bedroom, her bedroom and both bathrooms. There was even enough to split bags up and stash some in the diaper bag, changing table and car so we are never without them. They rarely break (unlike more expensive brands, ie - scunci) and are a very nice elasticity. Plus, they hardly tug at her fine toddler hair (although sometimes a few strands come along for the ride when she rips them out herself). They're the perfect size to 'wear' around my pinky, like I wear adult hairties on my wrist) when we're out and about.Highly recommended!

Got what I expected.
The other reviews are correct : these don’t last forever. But I think that’s a fair trade off for the discrete clear plastic. If you’re going to reuse them, just keep some on hand in an empty chapstick container or something. Bummer if you’re out doing your thing and one of them snaps.

Nice, small, clear hair bands
I bought these bands for their clear color, so that I can do my hair up in braids and then use hair pins to put them up.I like their size, as they are tiny (I have really fine hair, so bigger ones wouldn't do the trick). Also they are super sturdy and can be stretched a long way. They are also re-usable (on the first look I thought they won't last long).I did find them a bit hard to use as it's tricky to put them on with one hand (as they are tiny and it's hard to try to put them around two fingers with one hand).I also find them a bit too expensive, as it really is just a bunch of rubber in the bag it comes in. Also, I wish it came in a better packaging, as I have already managed to spill them many, many times. So prep a tiny box for when you get them, or a ziplock bag:)Overall it is a great product and does what it is supposed to do!

Surprisingly elastic
I bought these bands for a non-traditional application. I use them to mount very small strobe lights to the arms of my drones. I would have used velcro, but someone suggested using these for this purpose and I like the idea better. They work great for that purpose. They were smaller and thinner than I expected, but that's ok. I can't believe how much the stretch out to fit over things and then return to near their original shape. They do not have the same type of elasticity as rubber bands, but I don't think you could make a traditional rubber band this small and thin and have this type of elasticity and strength.I know they are made as hair ties, but I can't speak at all to that purpose.

One-time use
This is my first experience with clear bands and I loved the price and the look, but these are one-time use bands. I guess for the price, one should expect that. They do stretch quite a bit with the first use which makes them unusable for a 2nd try. A few broke the first time I used them when I pulled them a little too far. I will try clear bands again, but based on suggestions from this site, I will try the Goody brand to see if they might be more durable. I also noticed a few strands of hair would get wound around them much like using a rubber band. Since they feel much like tiny, clear rubber bands, I'm not surprised by this either. For one who normally wears a lot of stretchy hair bands in various colors, this will be a new experience.

I've tried so many rubber bands.
Hi, I absolutely love these, I keep going back to them over every other brand. They stretch really well you do get a lot for your money and they're pretty durable yes of course sometimes they break right away st of the time I have them in my hair for days. They are just tiny elastic bands they're not gonna be perfect but compared to many other brands that I've tried they're perfect to me.

Stretchy, cheap, and do the trick
I bought these for a intricate hairstyle for prom, and was a little worried that they would be brittle like some of the ones you can buy in the store, but they are actually really stretchy! The only time that one of them broke was when I had already used it once, for prom, and then (purely out of curiosity) tried to use it again. They are definitely designed for one time use, which is what I expected -- but great product, and cheap! I still probably haven't used a third of them yet, and for only 5 bucks!I have very thick hair as well for those concerned about hair type. Sometimes I even use them for all my hair when I just do one big simple braid, and they hold great, almost better than normal hair elastics.
