Peedie Board Book (Gossie & Friends) Board book – February 11, 2008

Bought these for the Children's section of the library when they first appeared on the market. The colors are vibrant, storyline is simple and the characters are charming. Would recommend any of these books for someone with small children or babies.

Peedie is the forgetful gosling in the world of Gossie and friends. I love Olivier Dunrea's beautiful, simple illustrations and simple text. My toddler also loves his books!

Peedie is a small, yellow gosling who sometimes forgets things. Olivier Dunrea's illustrations are simple yet colorful - absolutely delightful and appealing to all, yes even adults. Peedie wears a red baseball cap wherever he goes until one day he puts it in a secret place. Of course he forgets where he put it and so a search commences? Where does he find it? On top of an egg :)One of our preschoolers favorite in our home library.

Love these books, planning on buying them all.

I love kids' books and first ran across the author in a small store in Belgium. I love his illustrations, in particular, but the simple stories are easy to understand and my grand daughter loves them. The characters are just like children dressed up like goslings. Very fun.

Both of my grandsons have been captivated by these little books, both in book form and on my kindle. The illustrations are clear, colorful, and uncomplicated, and the boys learn to recognize the little goslings and think of them as friends.

Love these books! Sturdy and thick with super cute stories...I love reading them as much as my daughter loves hearing them! Also great for beginning readers, as the sentences are simple and sometimes repetitive with uncomplicated text. Love the whole series of Gossie and Friends...highly recommend!
