Ready for Hurricane Season!
Wisemen Trading Company is top-notch. The wash stand came separate fromthe tubs and was minus some hardware because the box had a hole. The company sent out replacement screws and nuts next day delivery! I was impressed. Good service like this is hard to find. As for the tubs themselves, they're sturdy and made of galvanized metal. As other reviewers mentioned, there is a slight issue of fit but I was able fo bend everything together to fit. I bought twenty lockwashers from my local Ace Hardware to keep everything tight.I bought the tubs because our power compNy (Duke Energy) is horrible, and at the slightest storm or wind we can be out of power for two or three days. The next time we get hit with a hurricance here in coastal Florida, I have no doubt it will be like New Orleans after Katrina with power out for weeks. At least now we have a way to wash clothes!Another tip: the wringer that Amazon recommends with these tubs doesn't fit; it is too long. However, the bottom clamps allow for some angling. I bought a rubber furniture coaster (again from my friendly neighborhood hardware store) to wedge inside the wringer's bottom clamp. So, one clamp goes between the two buckets where i should, and the other one clamps on to the lip of the rinse bucket at an angle. It's a kludge, but it works. This product is made in Mexico and is well-built. It's a little pricey, but good luck finding anything comparable for less. I am very satisfied with my purchase.======Addendum June 2018. I was missing a part and contacted Wiseman Trading Company who shipped out a replacement - a year after I bought the tubs. Now that's service that is difficult to find anymore! I am very pleased.

Depends on your purposes
Got this about 3 years ago. Use it for washing laundry outside sometimes more sometimes less... And for washing/processing garden produce, herbs, etc... And for cleaning this & doing that. It's proven quite useful. I like about this setup & I dislike it.It has earned it's keep, and continues to be useful.Just think about where you'll be storing it between uses.Since I almost entirely use this outside in grassy areas, I do not have the wheels on it. The first winter we took it to the basement in winter. But last two winters it survived fine outside with very minimal precautions taken.... But I take care not to scratch & bang up the protective coating.Be advised, I always set the base up on pavers to avoid it sinking into the ground once the tubs have water in them. It will sink, and crooked.Very quickly I switched out the "gravity plug" hoses provided, for lengths of garden hose that can direct the draining water where I want it to go (I use biodegradable soaps & drain it out to various plants & garden beds needing watered. I am careful to alternate where it drains off to and All have thrived happily & productively. The hoses found purpose elsewhere. For plugging, I use natural corks (be sure to take them in & let them dry between use & they last much much longer. The size needed can be gotten in little bulk packs from crafting or other supply sources. If using the tubs a lot, alternate a couple pairs of corks & they last much better. No handles is a problem for me. I work around it, but I'm also rather strong & have a really broad wingspan. There have been occassions in real life when there is need to adjust, move the tubs with product or clothing in them... This is quite a wrestling match. If you want to take the water to a different location to dump it, you have to drain it into a bucket first (tick tock!) As there is no place to grasp it effectively... Also makes it awkward rinsing out the tubs when you're done... There is a deep crease around the inside bottom that catches all the dirt & you have to hose it out, (but that is the fold that forms the seal & it's super watertight! I am considering using a sealant, only to end the problem of crud collecting there). There is nothing to hang these by except side of the washtub itself (which unless rubber coated, etc would risk damaging the inside surface of the tub... But I suppose a rubber coated hook or wooden projection would do the job). My way of dealing with this is too convoluted to share. Lol.You cannot sit these upright directly onto floor, or ground. The underside rim of the drain hole (where you attach your hose) extends farther than the rim around the tub base (which would sit better, & be more stable on the stand if that edge rim WAS deeper... AND more rim at edges would allow the tub to sit on ground or floor nicely)If it's properly assembled & you take the time to finangle the legs & sides it fits together quite firmly. Mind you we had to (carefully) use a mallet & such to fit the parts of the frame to the tubs correctly. The fit is so custom tight that I have to put each bin turned in the right direction on its proper side, or they don't sit right & are unstable (a dab of nail polish or permanent marker on one corner of each tub & its coresponding base leg = no problem. It's lightweight, has held up to several years of being moved around. Just needs tightened up once or twice a year with normal tools. I can move it around & do the maintenance myself.Don't try to be "the genius" shortcutter who thinks they will shim a "portable" hand wringer into the side of a tub.. especially if you then forget to take it off BEFORE you drain the water. Lol.Suck it up & build or buy a proper wringer stand for doing laundry. I don't know of any wringers narrow enough to fit the sides of these tubs right & it can't be stabilized properly for efficient clothes wringing anyway. Just don't try it... believe me. Use a stand out of the starting gate!

Classically simple and a great conversation piece!
Does require some assembly but be patient and it is easy to do. Drain on tubs is nice and simple!

Cool vintage tubs.
Pretty easy to put together, especially for one who finds this stuff a challenge. Value for money spent. Cool vintage looking double tubs. Too much to hope for....an appropriate faucet/faucet set up as a companion purchase.

Great purchase!
Excellent purchase. Does the job very well. You have to settle the tubs in the stand right or they will move a little. We use this as our main way of doing laundry. It comes with the hoses included. Overall this is a well made washing system. Will last a long time.

Drain hoses come unattached easily
I love doing my laundry this way, however, the drain hoses come out of the washtubs easily, making a big mess with water on the floor

I'd been better off with beating my clothes with rocks on a riverbank.
This is the sorriest piece of junk that I've ever spent money on! It's too bad that I can't give this less than 1 star. The thing was almost impossible to put together and by the time I was finally able to get the tubs to fit in the frame, (I mean it was TIGHT!) They popped right out. Loosened everything back up, fought like a banshee to get it back together, then the wringer assembly that I paid $153.74 for won't fit. (One of the large washers on the tightening screws also fell off...GREAT quality control!)... By this time I was tired of fighting this pile of garbage, and looked like I'd been fighting a bunch of wild cats in a 55 gallon drum full of razor blades. (Thanks for supplying all the sharp edges!) When I tried to move this monstrosity outside where I'll be using it... PRESTO JUNKO the tubs came out again.I couldn't wait to write this review... don't think it'll make it through... but I couldn't wait to write it. AND by the way, I DO NOT recommend this item! Since both items are third party suppliers, it'll probably cost an exorbitant amount to sent this stuff back. Anyone know what flimsy scrap metal is selling for these days?
